I've been impressed with what I've seen from Tiden this summer. He surely shows flashes of a great scorer who keeps teammates involved, competes on both ends of the floor, and is a creative scorer who can get hot at any moment. He's really showed out as of late as he had a solid showing in Fall league as the teams primary scorer, he came out to a showcase of ours and proved himself as a competitor in this class and this past weekend at the Uprise event he also was one of the standouts on the day as he was able to set the tone for Denver West. He's a player who had solid numbers as a junior but think he will have an even better senior season. He's a player to keep an eye on, and he has made a significant jump since the last rankings.

McNeal has to have the highest vert in the entire state. For a player of his size, it still takes some getting used to when you see him get out on a fast break and soar to the rim, daring opponents to go up with him. He had some explosive games this summer where he led his team to wins. He finishes well around the rim, plays on the bounce, and cannot be contained when he's in the open floor, and also stepped out and shot the 3-ball well. He's got that dog in him where he refuses to let guards go at him, he finds open teammates, and is a fierce competitor that only that Overland squad brings out of you. He's a player that we made sure to watch if he was at an event, and we think he's going to blow up this senior season on a team that should turn some heads. This was an easy jump for us.

When Atkinson gets going and is in a groove, that Grandview team is one of the most dangerous teams in the entire state. They already have the length and size to get after teams, but when you have him in the front of the press or zone, using his length to turn teams over and get out on the break for steals and dunks, they really suffocate teams. Atkinson is one of the better athletes in the state. He has good size, he looks to score, and that aggression becomes contagious. He can put the ball on the floor to attack, has a developing jumper where we started to see him shoot it a bit more, but we do know that the best we've seen from that talented Grandview bunch is when he's out there. We liked watching him in the Fall league. Want to see him consistently put it together and lead that group this season. He makes a jump in the rankings.

Lyrik was one of the most intriguing players of the summer for me. He's a defensive menace that plays with purpose, made it a point to be physical with opponents, and had them work for everything that they got. He's a versatile defensive prospect who can defend positions 1-4, and he also had some offensive games where he attacked and got to the FT line, finished around the rim, and gave his team energy. Coronado is going to need to see all of these things this season if they want to make a change, and with the way that he sets the tone on that end of the floor, he should be a standout in the conference.

We got to see Anton for Pro Skills this summer as he got out to a few of our events, and he was a standout each time out. He's a true PG that controls tempo and pushes pace, looks to get teammates going, and takes care of the ball. There are also times when he flips a switch and decides to attack and score, and that opens things up for his team. When he combines the two, that is when he's going to be at his best. Being assertive the entire time and getting downhill will only get the offensive flowing. For T-Ridge, they have so much size and a balance that will need him to do a bit of both. He also must be a pest defensively and come up with more plucks and get out and go. He's a player that we see take over and have his moments, and now we want to see more of them. He makes a jump in the rankings this go round but think he could make a much bigger leap with a big start to the season.
