Prep Hoops SC was in Spartanburg, South Carolina, for the Upward Stars Fall League on Tuesday and Wednesday. Although they are not affiliated with their High Schools, Fall Leagues are a great chance for prospects to get out on the court with their teams and continue to prepare for the upcoming season. Check out my evaluations on six wings who impressed in Week Six of the 2025 Upward Stars Fall League:

Leading off my list of stand-out Wings is [player_tooltip player_id='2314654' first='Chris' last='Copeland']. He was fantastic in Extreme Heights (High Point Academy)'s double-overtime win over Byrnes, putting up 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 assists. Chris finished through contact all game long, frequently earning trips to the free-throw line with his relentless driving. Copeland is also a dominant rebounder, particularly for a wing, but the biggest difference in his game on Wednesday was his jump shooting off-the-dribble.

Jayden is a new Wing to know from this week in Spartanburg. The lanky lefty has intriguing length and works hard on both ends of the floor. Owens is at his best as a spot-up option, where he can knock down catch-and-shoot threes or hit one-dribble pull-ups in the mid-range. He finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds in a loss for the Bridgeway Broncos (Mauldin).

Butler is now at Eastside High School and is already building some chemistry with his teammates on Team Armstrong. Caiden has also grown an inch or two, giving him more length to be a versatile option in the backcourt. Butler had the ball in his hands a lot on Tuesday, and that was usually a good thing for his team. Caiden made a few good reads, knocked down shots off the dribble, and used his long arms to disrupt things defensively.

On the other side of night one's final game was [player_tooltip player_id='2418910' first='Ricky' last='Hood III'] of B & G United (Greer). Ricky is still coming into his own as a prospect, but the physical gifts are hard to miss. Hood III is a high-flying athlete who plays off two feet, finishes above the rim, and excels in transition. Part of the transition success comes from his defensive ability, resulting in 3 steals on Tuesday Night.

It's rare to see a Freshman playing big minutes in a Fall League, but that's exactly the case with Stalvey. He has fit in very well alongside the rest of Greenville's talented unit, adding spacing with his outside shooting ability and some secondary ball-handling. Rollins doesn't look out of place with the ball in his hands and often makes the right decision. His scoring also projects an exciting future, knocking down a left-corner three and a driving floater this week.

Rounding out the list of Wings from Week 6 of the Upward Stars Fall League is [player_tooltip player_id='2382809' first='Trevor' last='Manhertz'] of undefeated Green Mountain (Christ School). Manhertz looks to be one of the top dogs in North Carolina's Junior Class, already holding offers from Charlotte, Northeastern, Old Dominion, UNC Asheville, and Boston. Along with his intriguing length, Trevor's most exciting attribute is his perimeter shooting ability, but don't sleep on his defensive skills either.
