He is a wing who does everything when he’s on the floor, with averages of 14.1 points per game, 7.6 rebounds per game, 4.8 assists per game, and 3.2 steals per game in his senior year. Chris has a nice, filled-out frame at 6’4″, capable of dominating smaller matchups at the high-school level and holding his own once he gets to the next level.

He was fantastic in Extreme Heights (High Point Academy)’s double-overtime win over Byrnes, putting up 22 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 assists. Chris finished through contact all game long, frequently earning trips to the free-throw line with his relentless driving. Copeland is also a dominant rebounder, particularly for a wing, but the biggest difference in his game on Wednesday was his jump shooting off-the-dribble.

Copeland is a hometown prospect, attending High Point Academy and playing for Spartanburg Prime on the Grassroots Circuit. He came out on a mission in Game Two, going for 13 points in the first half. Chris is a slashing wing who strongly favors his right hand, but opponents struggle to keep him away from it. He has a killer crossover and can get to the rim or the free-throw line at will. Copeland is also a high flyer and had a few highlight plays as part of his 21-point, 3-block game.
