Great experience for the handful of 2029 prospects invited to minicamp, Conroy Jr was one of just two 14 year olds in attendance. With an advanced feel for the game for his age, Conroy Jr made some impressive skip passes across the court. Low to the ground, Conroy Jr could change directions quickly and dribbled through traffic often without losing the ball. Based on what I saw this weekend, there can't be many more skill point guards in the 2029 class nationally.

I almost listed Hayes as a standout on Saturday because he had maybe the best 4 possession stretch I saw all weekend with a wing 3, putback layup, blocked shot and assist. On Sunday, Hayes was consistently making an impact and flying around the court. I was impressed with his shiftiness on the ball and his high release point allowed him to take and make contested shots. Woodward Academy players had an excellent weekend and the greater Atlanta area had more standouts than any other part of the country this weekend.

Jamison's best day of the entire weekend was clearly on Sunday as he made some big plays during the tournament that determined which team got to play against the older group. Jamison was knocking down 3-pointers in the 5 on 5 part of the day and had a nasty layup finish where he switched hands in mid-air. Liked seeing Jamison get better as the weekend went on and finish strong.

Our #1 ranked national prospect in the 2028 class showed off his impressive offensive upside on Sunday with a big day shooting the basketball on the perimeter and using his long strides in transition and on drives to score in the paint. Showing tremendous shot-making upside for his size, Lusakueno's ceiling will be reached if he can also become a plus defender. Considering his foot speed and length, Lusakueno has the potential to be an impactful defensive prospect as well. Expect some of the top teams in the country to be involved in his recruitment.

The tallest player in the blue group, Betts has the size and length to easily dunk whenever he catches the ball within 3 feet of the rim. His shot blocking upside is obvious and he swatted a handful of shots this weekend. I also like that Betts is physical and goes into contact even though his body isn't fully developed. Any prospect over 7 feet tall will get headlines but Betts is a lot more than just a tall presence.
