Dinos Trigonis and the team at Pangos hosted their annual All-East Frosh/Soph Camp this past weekend, bringing in nearly two hundred underclassmen from across the East Coast. After taking in a full day of action on Sunday, we'll continue coverage with a handful of 2028's from New York who caught the eye with their play.

Maybe our favorite player to watch on the day, Mojica was a force to be reckoned with as a budding matchup nightmare in the frontcourt. A repeat sophomore in his first year with an up-and-coming Masters School program, the high-IQ forward looks to have grown a few inches and shredded some baby fat since we saw him last, giving him a much more comfortable long-term projection at his natural '4' spot. Mojica showed a diverse skillset with great hands and feet across facets on both ends. It should only be a matter of time before he's on D1 radars with upside for higher levels as his frame continues to mature.

There may not have been a guard in the gym who was as consistently productive as Proudfoot, as the upstate product displayed his prolific shotmaking and stone-cold toughness from start to finish. A contender for camp MVP, Proudfoot rained in jumpers from all over the floor with unwavering confidence to pull up in the tightest of spaces. He continues to make strides with his ability to get to spots as a ballhandler, giving him upside for higher levels as he remains a tad undersized for a pure scoring guard. Proudfoot is building a strong track record of production at increasingly high levels of competition, with D1 programs having already begun to take note.

A breakout candidate heading into his sophomore year after biding his time as a freshman, Jordan looks ready to make a splash if his play on Sunday was any indication. The dynamic dribble-drive threat was effective creating his own shot off the bounce, working to his spots consistently and also showing flashes as a playmaker for others after sucking in the defense. Jordan also flashed improved athleticism in the floor game, crashing the offensive glass and using his length to make plays defensively. He should have a chance to emerge onto D1 radars in the years to come.

While camp settings can often favor guards who are wired to go look for their own, McLaren impressed by bucking that trend and operating as a pure floor general. A Top-60 all-star selection, he was effective running the show while consistently getting his wings and bigs the ball in proper positions to score. McLaren showed the ability to keep defenses honest as a scorer, but his ability to make his teammates better as a playmaker should be huge as he steps up in the rotation for Scanlan and continues to emerge as a D1 prospect.

Pangos camps always serve as a hotbed for unknown prospects to establish themselves on the scene, and Croom continued that trend while earning Top-60 all-star status. A new name on our radar, the Queens product impressed while keeping things simple with a smooth and well-rounded skillset. He was effective stretching defenses out beyond the arc with a confident, compact stroke while also showing the ability to work to his spots off the bounce efficiently. We'll look forward to tracking his progress moving forward as Croom looks to possess clear upside for the scholarship-level down the line.

One of three prospects who played their way up from the Top-60 all-star game to be rewarded with Top-30 status, Bird showed a well-rounded skillset as a complementary piece on the wing. With standout length and solid positional size already, he made an impact across the floor game while also showing the ability to knock down shots from the perimeter. While still lacking in experience at the varsity level, Bird certainly looks to possess a long-term upside worthy of tracking for the scholarship level.
