The Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp is annually one of the best events to check out young talent each fall. This year was no different. Here I examine prospects that made noise in Pangos Frosh/Soph Camp: Indiana Standouts!

[player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley'] (Pike, IN – 2028)

Lampley was one of my favorite prospects I saw on the Nike EYBL 15U circuit this past summer. He has legit size and strength at 6'7”. The big and athletic forward showcased more of his perimeter skill in this setting. He slashed for scores through contact and above the rim. Burst off the bounce for finger rolls, euro steps, and dunks. Pushed coast to coast in transition. Bit of a steaky perimeter shooter, but showed some flashes from mid-range.

[player_tooltip player_id='2539991' first='Amarian' last='Leggett'] (Blackford, IN – 2028)

Big wing at 6'5” that can handle it. Crossed over man to get to the rim, pushed in transition for dunks, and high pointed rebounds getting out on the break going coast to coast. Threw down a lob off the backboard. Showed some passing off live dribbles including a sweep bounce pass to his big man.

[player_tooltip player_id='2565742' first='Charles' last='Hardiman'] (Merrillville, IN – 2028)

Hardiman is a 6'4” lanky wing that showcased a quick first step. Won on a strong cross and burst to the rim for a bucket. Good driver with body control at the cup. Plays well in transition and can pass it a little. Quick to the offensive glass.

Brody Turnley (Charles Tindley, IN – 2029)

The 6'2” shooting guard is a solid athlete on the perimeter that plays with good rhythm. Very good passer when he gets two feet in the paint making decisions that led to points. Can hit a mid-range jumper and showed touch on a reverse layup.

Laumanuia Jackson (Anderson, IN – 2028)

The long and strong 6'5” wing attacks with force! Liked the intensity he brough getting to the rim in both the half court and transition. Mixed in a pull up three and flashed defensively.

Deshawn Clay Jr. (Gary Westside, IN – 2029)

The 6'3” wing attacks the rim with intent. Lengthy prospect that was explosive on reverse layups on baseline takes. Showcased a free and easy shooting stroke from the charity stripe. Active on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2561161' first='Quentavious' last='Fly'] (Gary Bowman, IN – 2028)

Good size, strength, and length for this 6'5” wing from Indiana. Won on straight line takes through traffic and finished well through contact at the cup. Burst with the ball in his hands.

Prentiss Gates Jr (Gary Westside, IN – 2029)

Gates was one of the taller posts at the camp as the incoming freshman is 6'8” with the ability to finish extremely well out of the dunker spot with quick moves and reverse finishes. Mobile around the basket. Also impacted defensively blocking several shots in the game I saw.

[player_tooltip player_id='2957590' first='Michael' last='Rivera'] (Portage, IN – 2028)

Rivera is a smaller guard at 5'9” that was super crafty as a layup maker in his first game of the event. Did it off the bounce, in transition, and was always available. Nifty passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2948760' first='Dredan' last='Royston'] (Ben Davis, IN – 2028)

The 6'4” strong bodied wing is a creative finisher that got out in transition for buckets doing a nice job of finishing through and around contact. Pushed it coast to coast multiple times for scores. Solid passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2881715' first='Boomer' last='Minch'] (Scecina Memorial, IN – 2028)

Heady 6'2” lead guard that is scrappy. Plus passer with good vision and feel for the game. Capable three point shooter.

Myshawn Dawson (Michigan City, IN – 2028)

Liked what we saw out of this 6'5” big man. Good size and strength on the interior. Solid hands catching passes in traffic and finishing. Good area rebounder. Can handle a little in the open floor and is a good mid-range shooter.
