CBG Final Under the Radar Class of 2026-27 Prospects Part 1

Every year, new waves of talent emerge in high school basketball, but not all rising stars get the spotlight they deserve. True point guard who thrives in organized chaos. A coach on the floor with excellent court vision, vocal leadership, and relentless effort. Controls pace, makes others better, and competes on both ends. Physical defender who anticipates and dictates tempo. High-IQ and team-first player. Under-radar prospects played with [program_tooltip program_id='2078457' first='Team' last='Durant'] this summer but had an injured ankle didn't play this summer. Look for Malik to have a strong senior season to gain Division looks this season.     Solid prospect, quick, agile and active he defends multiple positions effectively and has a great motor! He can beat you off the bounce with a nice handle featuring a quick crossover and nice burst. Slippery basket attacker with nice footwork and an explosive leaper. Joe hit the dribble pull-up showing fluidity and sound mechanics. Moves off the ball nicely for catch and shoot opportunities and is a serious threat with the jumper from all areas. Joe is a prospect that plays hard and gives all out effect on both ends of the floor.     Highly energized athletic 2G. Khalil showed an ability to score in bunches by getting to gaps in the halfcourt and knocking down floaters or finger rolls in the halfcourt. Barrett overall quickness and diverse skillset as a wing showed he was comfortable hitting the perimeter shots off the bounce, rebound the basketball, even step in to take a charge which also complemented his quick hands on the defensive end.     I was impressed with his footwork and mobility on both ends of the floor. He works the blocks nicely, seals and makes himself a nice target for post entries. Developing skillset offensively but impacts the game with his effort & motor on both ends. Active on the glass. Creates 2nd chance points. Runs the floor. Blocks/alter shots defensively. Good hands and showed some back to the basket variety. Exciting upside!!     Tough guard on a guard heavy team. Grant is shifty and quick hustling guard who can blow by you with a cat quick burst or break you down with his quick low and tight handle. Uses crossovers and in and outs, timely hesitations. Scores over length with runners and has a nice touch finishing around the rim. Also, a threat with the jumper from deep. Quick gather and elevation using the dribble pull-up. One of the better on the ball defensive guards I watched on Saturday!
