With the swagger of a potential big time scorer, there's a chance Elder and his Eisenhower Eagles are two of the biggest risers this winter. He's a lefty with a sweet jumper and is capable of carving up the defense off the bounce. Has shown flashes of exciting vision and playmaking ability. Could he be the next up in tough and talented 580 point guards? There might be typical growing pains as a sophomore, especially playing in Oklahoma's largest classifications. But the big time potential is evident for a Elder to be a double digit scorer this year for Ike. And much more down the road.

As a 5A title contender, Wright might not make the production jump similar to others on the list. But to reach State and capture Gold, it requires depth and all hands on deck. Enter the intriguing, tall sophomore. With an experienced group around him, the role should be simple for Wright. Hit the glass. Hit the occasional three to spread the floor. And hustle. All those traits are in Wright's bag.

If he's successful in staring in that role, expect the wins and personal highlights to follow. And set the stage for Wright to be a dynamic and skilled force as an upperclassman.

There's an opportunity for McNeely to take the reigns for the Bulldogs. He has the athletic gifts to be a dynamic, playmaking point guard. The key for him to flourish as a sophomore will be him to grow up quickly as a true floor general. The PG for Edmond Memorial always has a lot on his plate. As over the last 15 years the Bulldogs have been one of the best coached teams in Oklahoma. His floor this year is likely flourishing in a change of pace role. As he's super quick and shifty. But if he makes the jump as a cerebral guard, look out for McNeely and the Bulldogs.

A hard nose scoring guard, Jones is a fearless driver to the rim. He even has the clutch gene, as his late in the season game winner vs Weleetka started a 6 game winning streak. Which helped his Class B squad to 21 wins. But they were dumped out in Regionals with back to back losses, leading to a clear point of improvement. Reach Area and possibly further. As a shooter, he's solid as a spot up threat. Indicating that he can become a complete scorer, and light up the small town ranks.

As a freshman Tenequer averaged 14 points a game. He's an energetic slasher, who works hard for transition points. And is capable of getting to the rim and finishing strongly in the half court. Along with his scoring accolades, he regularly filled up the stat sheet with boards, dime and steals for Allen.

Now as a sophomore and with the bitter taste of being one game away from State, expect the Mustang to take his scoring to another level. Averaging 20+ point on the year seems very much in the cards, as he was a big time scorer during the playoff run. The Mustangs will be in the mix to reach the Class A State Tournament, and help open the new State Fairgrounds Coliseum.
