Rankings Release: The 2029 Bigs

Today, we wrap up our rankings coverage for the Class of 2029 with a look the at Bigs!   These are the prospects that do most of their damage around the rim - whether that's rolling hard out of ball screens, posting up on the low block, or securing rebounds and altering shots around the basket - they get it done inside the paint.   Below are five Bigs to watch from the first Watch List for the Class of 2029:    Daniels, a big out of the Tilton School in New Hampshire, has some impressive physical tools and long term potential in spades. The 6'11" prospect is a towering presence in the paint that does a nice job of finding different ways to score around the rim. He sets great screens, has a solid set of hands, and already plays with advanced footwork in the post. On top of that, he's even displayed some signs of the ability to knock down catch and shoot threes. Defensively, he takes up a lot of space, uses his length to protect the rim, and knows how to use his body to clean up on the glass.     Lee, a big out of the Dexter Southfield School in Massachusetts, profiles as a floor spacing big with his ability to make shots from the perimeter and plays off the bounce. He does a nice job of popping into space out of ball screens, can attack in straight lines off the bounce, and shows an ability and willingness to play with his back to the basket in the post. Defensively, he has the mobility needed to switch onto the perimeter, uses his length to alter shots around the rim, and can really go and get the basketball off the glass.     Djan, a big out of Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut, is a high level athlete with impressive physical tools and a motor that runs on high. He has great length and uses it to his advantage as a finisher around the rim, disruptive defender in passing lanes, and shot blocker in the paint. He finishes plays above the rim and does a nice job of rolling out of ball screens or operating as a lob threat off of teammates drives. He does a great job of running the floor in transition, has the agility to guard in space, and shows signs of some comfort making decisions with the ball in his hands.     Kone, a big out of CATS Academy in Massachusetts, is another prospect that has some versatility in his game and a high ceiling as a prospect going forward. At 6'10", he has great positional size but impresses with the fluidity of his movements and ability to play in tight spaces. He's capable of handling the ball in transition and on the perimeter, has some shot creation skill in isolations, and shows the ability to knock down shots out to the three. Defensively, he guards multiple spots, uses his length on the glass, and can cover ground quickly as a shot blocker.     Curley, a big out of the Tilton School in New Hampshire, is a versatile prospect that plays with a nice combination of basketball IQ, skill, and toughness. He has good size at 6'7" with long arms, understands and processes the game at a high rate, and shows the ability to consistently draw the defense away from the rim with his shooting. He's a willing ball mover, scores with length at the basket, and can operate as a roller or pop guy in ball screens. Defensively, he mixes it up on the glass, moves well enough to guard wings, and can defend bigger opponents with his length.    With that, rankings coverage for the September updates has concluded!
