Prep Hoops Indiana "The Expo" - Team 4 Evaluations

Our fall showcase series came to an end on Saturday as Prep Hoops Indiana hosted “The Expo” at The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon. This exclusive event featured about 60 of the top Class of 2026 and 2027 prospects and is one of the most watched by college programs in the state. As always, over the next week or so, we will be evaluating every prospect in attendance. Here are our evaluations of the prospects that played on Team 4 at “The Expo.”   ***If you notice that you did not receive an evaluation please contact Brandon Ramsey via email at coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com and he will quickly work to resolve the issue.***    Dixon is no stranger to us as he has been a consistent top performer on the Prep Hoops Circuit over the last couple of summers. The 6'1" guard showcased his talent once again last Saturday at "The Expo" against some of the best of his peers. He displayed excellent vision and passing ability early on in 3-on-3 play and then finished a really tough And-1 against size in 5-on-5 action while we were watching. The South Bend Adams High School guard is a very talented all-around playmaker.     Here is what we had to say about Kobe when we highlighted him as a top performer following "The Expo."   Kobe's athleticism and ability to create his own shot really stood out to us at “The Expo” on Saturday. The 6'1″ guard looks poised to take over a larger role this season in the Portage High School backcourt that graduated a lot of production. His ability to consistently get to the basket and finish with either hand at the end of his drives was very impressive. It will be interesting to follow his development moving forward. High-upside Class of 2027 guard.     Johnson is a long, athletic left-handed wing/forward. The Concordia Lutheran product had a tough And-1 finish in transition and consistently looked good when running the floor. His mobility, paired with some intriguing positional size and skill level made him an effective mismatch throughout "The Expo." Look for him to blossom as a junior this upcoming high school season.     The reason we host events like "The Expo" is to consistently uncover new prospects that are looking for exposure. Sometimes, even going into their senior season, we still haven't had a chance to evaluate certain prospects. Afefe is one of those guys as the under-the-radar guard showed up and played very well. He displayed a smooth, left-handed stroke early on in shooting drills and that perimeter skill translated into 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 action.     This 6'4" wing has impressive positional size. He is strong, athletic, and bigger than a lot of opposing guards which allowed him to win some one-on-one mismatches on the perimeter. He had a slippery drive that he finished with his left hand inside during 5-on-5 action that really caught our attention. Look for Hughes to really break out as a junior at Batesville High School after averaging an impressive 10.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game as a sophomore.     Size is always in style and this 6'5" forward has it. There were a bunch of very talented big men at "The Expo", but Deneve more than held his own against some of the best of the best. He is crafty inside with good footwork and patience showcasing the willingness to shot fake, spin, and pivot around in order to finish. Defensively the Whitko High School senior has the requisite strength to hold his own on the block as well.     Here is what we had to say about Amous when highlighting him as a top performer at "The Expo."   The lone out-of-state prospect to come to “The Expo” in Indiana, Amous is ranked in the Top 100 by Prep Hoops Illinois. The 6'4″-6'5″ senior forward was a load around the basket as others had a hard time matching his strength and physicality. Amous, who attends Lincoln Park High School in Chicago, was excellent on the boards and finished several offensive rebound putbacks. He displayed soft hands and smooth footwork. in the post. Small college coaches should take a look at Amous heading into his senior season.
