One of the more interesting 2027 prospects in Columbus, this winter could be a coming out party for Kolar who has all the skills to be one of the top wing forwards in central Ohio. The lefty has length to finish around defenders, makes shots from the outside and is an impressive straight line athlete. Need to see Kolar consistently grab offensive rebounds and impact the game on the stat sheet with points, rebounds and blocks. I'd expect Kolar's name to be very well known among basketball fans in central Ohio by playoff time.

One of the elite stretch forwards in Ohio, Scholl is going to make shots on the perimeter basically every game he plays in. With a couple of college line 3-pointers, defenses have to respect Scholl well beyond the high school line. A couple turnaround jumpers also showcase his tough shot-making ability. What's most important for Scholl however is continuing to add strength, weight and play through contact. If Scholl can consistently get to the foul line this winter I'd expect his PPG numbers to spike for Big Walnut.

One of my favorite new prospects from this fall league, Meehan just knows how to play. Scoring probably close to 20 points in the first game of the day just off being in the right spots, scoring with his back to the basket and running the floor. If you just saw Meehan for a couple possessions you might not notice him but when you watch an entire game you see how he consistently puts himself in positions to help his team. Refreshing to see a forward live in the paint in today's style of play.

I was really impressed with Thompson's ability to hold his own against older competition and be one of the top players on the court. Thompson was an excellent rebounder, played hard and knocked down a bunch of 3-pointers. An and-1 3-pointer on the wing came just after he had knocked down a corner 3-pointer in what was his hottest stretch of the morning. The combination of knocking down 3-pointers while also not being afraid to be physical is an excellent outside-inside combo for Thompson to impact the game with.

Larrison impressed me this summer with Upper Arlington and continues to raise his stock at the Midwest fall league. An athletic forward who is an explosive leaper and set shot maker, that combo is exactly what makes Larrison a productive high school player and an intriguing college prospect. Upper Arlington still should have high expectations this winter with a strong core recruiting despite the transfer of Alex Smith to Prep school.

Page caught fire in his teams second game of the day with three straight 3-pointers to extend his team's lead past double-digits in a game they would cruise to a win. The lefty wing has a long wingspan and can defend multiple positions in addition to his shot-making ability. Cal (PA) has had a fast start to this fall league and look like one of the contenders to win the league with a lot of experience on their roster.
