The CBG Fall Team Camp took place at the Henrico Sports and Event Center this past weekend, with two days of action featuring some top tier teams from Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. With four courts of action and over 30 teams in attendance, there were a number of players who made an impression on the coaches and scouts in attendance. Here's a look at part one of some of the top 2026 performers in the event.

Price was nothing short of fantastic for Westfield as they took on a gauntlet in both days of the team camp, and he showed why he's one of the more underrated available players in the class. The 6'2” combo showed got where he wanted more often than not, showing his shiftiness off the bounce and his ability to create space and score the ball at a high clip from all over the floor. He brought a competitive chip to every matchup he had bringing energy on both ends of the floor, he showed his ability to move off the ball and make shots on the move, he got to the line often, and he made plays for others as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2252298' first='Mathias' last='Lee'] | 6'7” PF | Westfield

Lee is a late bloomer who has steadily grown into his body and improved quite a bit over the past few years, and he showed flashes of D1 talent and huge upside moving forward. The 6'7” forward has always been athletic but seems to have taken it to another level, as he was running the floor like a gazelle and playing above the rim effortlessly and with authority. He showed the ability to stretch the floor from deep, he showed he can put it on the deck in straight lines and get to the rim, and he has a lot of upside as a switchable defender at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782684' first='Isaiah' last='Brown'] | 6'2” WG | Westfield

Brown has been the staple of the Westfield rebuild over the past three years, and every time I see him play I'm super impressed with his consistency and his understanding of not only the game as a whole, but his game and how he can be effective. He is a strong guard who can move his feet and stay in front of ball handlers, and he has great instincts jumping passing lanes and moving into help. He is a very good shooter off the catch from deep and is very efficient on a good volume, he can get downhill and use his size to finish through contact, and he always seems to make the right and simple play without forcing things.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548297' first='Gart' last='Heller'] | 6'7” PF | Powhatan

Heller had quite the group of college coaches following him around, and it makes sense as he is easily one of the most improved players in the Richmond area over the past year. The 6'7” forward has grown into his body and got into much better shape, increasing his lateral mobility to stay in front and also his ability to run the floor and get easy buckets in transition. He played with a great motor on both ends of the floor competing for rebounds and loose balls, he shows good hands and feet in the post, he showed the ability to face up and attack off the bounce, and at the trajectory he's improving he will only get much better moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1963392' first='Keon' last='Mitchell'] | 6'1” PG | Norview

Mitchell has been the starting point guard for Norview since he was a freshman, and coming off a great summer he picked right up showing he will most likely be one of the top guards in the 757 this year. Mitchell impressed with his smooth demeanor and playmaking ability, as he was able to use his change of pace to get by defenders, and also use his strength to finish through contact and create space when he needed to. He made shots from all three levels showing a knack for effortlessly getting to spots, he made good decisions and set his teammates up for easy buckets, and he brought it defensively which brought energy to his entire team as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2459359' first='Jisaiah' last='Bryant'] | 6'5” F | Liberty Christian

Bryant has been as consistently productive as anyone in the state over the past couple of seasons, and with an LCA team that has grown together over the past season he showed at team camp that he will continue that production level this year. The 6'5” hybrid forward just stuffs the stat sheet and does everything impactful on the basketball court, whether it's scoring the ball, making hustle plays or playing every position on the floor and doing it well. He attacked downhill and used his size to finish through traffic, he made open shots from deep and in the midrange, he rebounded effectively and showed his ability to start the break off the rebound, and he guarded multiple positions well too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2618849' first='Collin' last='Bowles'] | 6'2” CG | Massaponax

Bowles broke onto the scene last year at the CBG Fall Series, and he's emerged as one of the best players in the Fredericksburg area, and one of the top shooters in the entire state at that. The 6'2” combo guard was lights out from deep, showing effortless range and a quick release, with the ability to both make shots on the move and create space off the bounce as well. He has a quiet toughness to him as he competes on both ends and does all the little things to help his team, he's super savvy and has a high IQ and good instincts on both ends, and he always seems to make a play when his team needs it the most.

Trey Bowler | 6'5” F | Massaponax

Bowler emerged last year and this past summer with a good showing with Virginia Premier, and he's been one of the most improved players I've seen over the past year or so as well. A 6'5” hybrid forward, Bowler is a walking mismatch with his ability to take slower forwards off the bounce and use his size and athleticism in the paint against smaller defenders as well. He crashes the glass hard on the offensive end, he has a good arsenal with the ball in his hands both in the post and off the bounce on the perimeter, and he can switch and guard multiple positions as well.
