<p>The PrepHoops Oregon Sophomore ID Camp took place on Sunday, August 24, and many of the state's top second-year players were at the Beaverton Hoop YMCA for some high-level competition. Over the last week, we've taken a look at our scouting notes for each individual roster, breaking down this huge crop of talent player-by-player. Here's a look at Team Eight:</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2427520' first='Nathan' last='Cho'] (2028 Lakeridge)</strong><br>Cho showed off a great handle at the showcase, using his craftiness to create space and get into his spots. He scored at all three levels and consistently looked comfortable as a primary ballhandler. Cho is the kind of guard who can beat you in multiple ways and thrives with the ball in his hands.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2947379' first='Colton' last='Waldorf'] (2028 Beaverton)</strong><br>At 6-foot-2, Waldorf used his length well and made an impact even when he didn't have the ball. He was an effective screener, moved well within the flow of the offense, and created opportunities for teammates. He's the type of player who doesn't need heavy usage to influence a game.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2539805' first='Spencer' last='Dirks'] (2028 Grant)</strong><br>Dirks impressed with his high IQ and ability to read the game quickly. He ran the floor hard, filled lanes in transition, and used his speed to pressure defenses. He's a smart, speedy guard who does the little things to make a team tougher to stop.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2863299' first='Michael' last='Horsley'] (2028 Roosevelt)</strong><br>Horsley flashed craft as a guard, showing a quick burst to get past defenders and the ability to finish through contact at just 5-foot-6. He played with confidence in traffic and didn't shy away from bigger bodies inside. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2949665' first='Tyler' last='Eddy'] (2028 Valley Catholic)</strong><br>Eddy stood out for his willingness to rebound at 6-foot-2, consistently attacking the glass and extending possessions. His size and energy make him a reliable contributor who does a lot of the little things to help his team.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2917741' first='Austin' last='Salter'] (2028 Marshfield)</strong><br>Salter was one of the more physically imposing players in the gym, standing 6-foot-6 with obvious athleticism. He moved well for his size and finished effectively around the rim. With his mobility and inside presence, Salter projects as a versatile frontcourt piece.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2388705' first='Jayden' last='Alcantara'] (2028 Southridge)</strong><br>Alcantara used his sturdy frame to handle pressure and create lanes for himself and teammates. He made unselfish passes and looked comfortable initiating offense. He's a guard who combines physical strength with playmaking instincts.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2539809' first='Victor' last='Jackson'] (2028 Jefferson)</strong><br>Jackson played with explosiveness and shiftiness as a ball-dominant guard, constantly keeping defenders off balance. He scored in a variety of ways and proved to be a reliable bucket-getter throughout the event. He's do-it-all guard who thrives when given the green light to create.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2535898' first='Keanu' last='Rivera'] (2028 Sunset)</strong><br>Rivera showed a well-rounded skill set, making plays as both a scorer and a passer. His vision stood out, and he consistently found teammates in good spots while also taking advantage of his own scoring opportunities. Rivera is a steady, balanced guard who impacts the game in multiple facets.</p>
