The Expo: Team 7 Evaluations

He's a lengthy guard who defends at an incredibly high level. And that was relevant from the opening tip of the first game. Even stealing a ball of an inbound for an easy score at one point. He displayed excellent on-ball defense throughout the first matchup on Saturday, which included a a forced turnover and an over-and-back. Very underrated bust with the ball. Has an ability to score consistently from close range and adds a good shooting stroke. I also saw some outstanding defensive play. Sliding his feet really well to keep guys in front of him. Great stance and body control to back that up. Took over late in the opening contest with his play on both ends. Coming out of nowhere for two key blocks while creating several buckets in transition. His long wingspan created challenges for opponents on the defensive end, while also showing he can force misses both in the paint and on the perimeter.
