Kobe Stevenson
About Kobe
Expert Analysis
Michael Schneiderman | Prep Hoops Scout
The other quick back court guard for the Wildcats. Rebounded it from the offensive end at an effective rate to gain second chance opportunities. Had 2 put backs and then a corner 3 to keep team within reach. Likes to get out and run in the open floor with plenty of finishing capability. A lot to look forward to here with another underclassmen who will continue to develop and garner attention for a solid Wildcats squad.

Stevenson had a big summer for Thornton as their sharp shooting lead guard. It was more of the same at the camp as the southpaw was burying three after three with his sweet stroke. Quickness and has defensive potential at 5’10”.

I loved the energy Stevenson played with while covering him Saturday morning. He’s a lengthy guard who defends at an incredibly high level. And that was relevant from the opening tip of the first game. Even stealing a ball of an inbound for an easy score at one point. Kobe also showed some solid shooting abilities.
