Southern Arizona Standouts at the SWBC Part One

He was one of the best shooters off the pass at camp. He knocked down a corner three, forced a turnover on the following inbound and then knocked down another 10 seconds later. Went 4/4 from deep in a span of about 2 minutes. He's a shifty guard with a nice pump fake that he uses to dribble into a mid range pull up. Very strong defender. Quick hands to pop the ball from his opponents. Dove on loose balls to gain possession for his team. Blows by the defense in transition to finish for the score. A highly overlooked prospect with a high ceiling. Jackson is an impact player. Plays with a strong motor. Easily one of the top passers at the camp. Even against top defensive players Pippen was able to create and get it done. Elite court vision and make high level passes through traffic. Didn't get pressured into mistakes. True floor general. One of the players who picked up some interest from coaches in attendance. Highly effective player on both sides of the ball. A true three level scorer. Has a very smooth shot from deep and a talented turn around mid range jumper and can finish well above the rim. Defends really well and uses his athleticism to block shots. A very tough two way guard that competes every possession. Defensively very strong with and patient with good timing on knocking the ball from his opponents hands. Offensively makes his moves and gets to the basket and finishes with a nice lay up and has a nice floater as well. Hustles hard. Gill was one of the top true point guards at camp. High IQ and great overall game to go with it. Continues to develop at a high level. Strong shooter and showed off his ability to finish above the rim. High impact player on both sides.
