Defensively his versatility shines being able to guard multiple spots on the floor. He looks to turn defense to offense by being aggressive in the passing lanes. He's not a burner with the ball I. His hands, but he plays at his pace and is extremely aggressive to get the basket. He's really good in pick and roll situations. If the defender goes under, he's a confident shot maker that will make you pay. He can turn the corner and get to the paint and play off two feet. He's an electric scorer that does his a lot of his damage off the ball. He's really good at getting himself open by change of pace and knowing how to cut off of a screen. When he gets the ball m, he's dynamic as a one on one player. Quick first step helps him get the defense off balance and showed he is a capable scorer from all three levels. Elite three point shooter with a quick release, good elevation, and deep range. Once he elects to drive it, he has the ability to stop on a dime and hit tough contested shots in the midrange. Valuable on the floor playing either guard spot, he can manipulate the defense in a variety of different ways. On the ball, he's really good at picking his spots. He's not the quickest player on the floor, but takes good angles to get his advantage. He's patient in the pick and roll where he does a nice job running his man off the pick to create an offensive advantage. He showed the ability make any kind of pass in traffic. Off the ball, he's a knockdown three-point shooter with a a quick release. Does a really good job of playing with his eyes up and seeing the floor. Shifty with his movements. Showed he has a good looking shot from the perimeter to keep the defense honest, though he struggled to connect from distance last season. Stays tight on ball screens and makes the right play on drives. When he gets in the lane, he's really good at staying under control and scanning the floor to either hit the roll man or stop and shoot his floater.
