My annual Film Room series is back for another year! There were over 100 prospects who submitted High School, Grassroots, or Camp Highlights for review and all will be featured in an article on Prep Hoops. Check out my thoughts on the fifth group of 2027s and watch their film in the post from @AndrewBaxleySC on X (Twitter):

[player_tooltip player_id='2396551' first='Bowen' last='Swofford'] (Mauldin) - Leading off Part 5 of the 2027 Film Room is a guy who will be an important figure in the new-look Legacy Lions, [player_tooltip player_id='2396551' first='Bowen' last='Swofford']. Swofford will get plenty of time as the lead guard for his team after coming over from Mauldin High School, and his balance of scoring and facilitating is something they are excited about. Bowen's film featured a nice blend of scoring at all three levels, particularly with a knack for getting into the paint and finishing around bodies.

[player_tooltip player_id='2537655' first='Julian' last='Graham'] (Aiken) - Graham submitted some highlights from his AAU Season with Big Shots Dunkman Elite this summer. He gave them a nice scoring punch while playing on and off the ball, contributing with his ability to catch and shoot or pull up with one or two dribbles in the mid-range. Julian also has good speed with the ball in his hands, and that was on display as he beat defenders off the dribble and got out in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1931197' first='Josh' last='Gamble'] (Wilson) - Josh has one of the premier mid-range games in the state, but his film also showed his progression as a three-point shooter and a playmaker. He can pull up going left or right, in transition or in the half-court, and the addition of an efficient perimeter stroke will now keep defenders even more off balance. Gamble's highlights were from the SCBCA Team Camp, but since then, he has moved to Wilson High School, where he will be a key player on a State Championship contender.

[player_tooltip player_id='2149135' first='Milton' last='McCray'] (CA Johnson) - Next up on the list is [player_tooltip player_id='2149135' first='Milton' last='McCray'], who had a big Sophomore Season at CA Johnson, putting up 16 Points Per Game on nearly 50% shooting from three. When watching McCray on film or in person, the shooting is the first thing that will jump out at you. However, he also has intriguing length and athleticism that allow him to hit contested shots, finish at the rim, and force issues on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2954962' first='Chuck' last='Schwarz'] (Fox Creek) - Schwarz replied with a few clips from an event with Team Next Gen this season for review. The Fox Creek Predator is a true stretch forward, capable of pulling opposing bigs away from the rim with his ability to be a weapon around the perimeter. Chuck is a capable three-point shooter with a mechanically sound jump shot, but he also handles the ball well for his size and can hit shots off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='2918243' first='Zahaire' last='Rawles'] (Goose Creek) - Rounding out the list is a new name to me, [player_tooltip player_id='2918243' first='Zahaire' last='Rawles']. Rawles attends Goose Creek High School and plays for Palmetto Stampede on the grassroots circuit. At 6'4", Zahaire is a gifted scorer off the dribble who finishes with length and the rim, has a good handle to create space, and has bursts of explosiveness as he attacks the rim. He also had a few nice clips on the defensive end, containing opposing ball handlers and getting into passing lanes.
