My annual Film Room series is back for another year! There were over 100 prospects who submitted High School, Grassroots, or Camp Highlights for review and all will be featured in an article on Prep Hoops. Check out my thoughts on the third group of 2027s and watch their film in the post from @AndrewBaxleySC on X (Twitter):

[player_tooltip player_id='2753938' first='Jamie' last='Graham'] (Carvers Bay) - First up on Part 3 of the 2027 Film Room is [player_tooltip player_id='2753938' first='Jamie' last='Graham']. "Ace" will be a key man for the Carvers Bay Bears in his Junior Season, and flashed his three-level scoring ability in his summer film. He has a good blend of pace to his game, with the ability to turn up the speed and get downhill or compose the offense and get to his spots. Graham can also create and hit tough shots after the action.

[player_tooltip player_id='2881403' first='Alex' last='Mcilwain'] (Westminster Catawba) - Mcilwain is a very similar style Guard. Listed at 6'2", he plays the game with very good bounce as he tries to get downhill and finish above defenders at the rim. Alex has good potential as a shooter and already punishes defenses that leave him open, and can also handle the ball under pressure in spots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2684279' first='Joseph' last='Owusu-Mensah'] (Northwestern) - Joseph was a new name to the database in June, so it's good to follow up with him with his July film from Upward Stars Rock Hill. He displayed some very good moments on the defensive end, frequently rotating to block shots at the rim or sliding over and drawing charges in the paint. Owusu-Mensah is a capable shooter who can face up in the mid-range or space out to the perimeter, too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2554089' first='William' last='Rose'] (First Baptist) - The lefty Guard submitted his full highlights from his Sophomore Season with First Baptist. Rose has a nasty left-to-right crossover that helps him create space for an efficient mid-range game or allow him to beat defenders and get into the paint. William can also finish in multiple ways, including with both hands, through contact, and with the occasional floater.

[player_tooltip player_id='2197894' first='Jeremiah' last='Howard'] (Lexington) - Howard had a monster AAU Season with Palmetto Pride, averaging over 17 PPG while shooting 50% from three with 120 makes. Jeremiah moved well with and without the ball well on film, popping up and hitting shots from all over the floor. He also showed good competitiveness to get on the floor for loose balls, deflect passes, and crash the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2376083' first='Wesley' last='Lyles'] (Laurence Manning) - Rounding out the list is [player_tooltip player_id='2376083' first='Wesley' last='Lyles']. Lyles comes in as one of the top players in SCISA after transferring from Sumter HS. He is a true all-around, 6'4" Wing who can shoot it from three and in the mid-range, has a good feel for passing, and works well defensively. Look for Wesley to use his improved skillset and positional size to dominate for LMA this season.
