He's strong and athletic enough to make plays by the rim, shows soft touch from behind the arc, and can make some big plays defending the paint. He's also grown as a decision-maker, helping him play efficiently and make his teammates better.

He's got the size and athleticism to be a real factor on both ends of the floor, and he's shown a lot more strength and aggression to his game this summer. He should be a legit second option for Auburn offensively and will pose some tough matchups throughout the winter.

The skilled wing has the size and smooth offensive skillset to make a big leap in his junior season. He can knock down the 3-ball at a good clip, has the handle to create off the bounce and attack gaps, and has been finishing with some creativity and athleticism at the rim. Prep loses quite a few key guys from last year's squad, and Matt is in a prime position to help pick up some of the slack.

The 6-foot-10 big man will be a huge factor wherever he lines up this season. He's a legit post prospect who has the footwork to match his size on the blocks and has made some big strides this summer in expanding his game. Thompson has also been showing a pretty reliable stroke outside the paint, and even looks like a kid who can step out and stretch the floor when open from three. It should be a big winter for this rising post.

Stevenson did a solid job last season, stepping into Olympia's starting five and providing some scoring and rebounding down low. He's a kid who has consistently gotten better creating to the hoop, knocking down jumpers with more efficiency, and playing out of different spots. They'll be looking to him to pick up his usage and scoring this winter, and the athletic forward looks up for the task.

Kan has had some off-the-charts moments this summer and really looks like he could be the Grizzlies' go-to guy offensively when winter rolls around. His 3-point shooting has improved, he has strength to the hoop, and plays with a combo of patience and balance when attacking the paint. He could really take off this winter and help Glacier Peak remain a top team in the Wesco.

Kiehl was already a key defender and table-setter for Monroe last season, and he continued to improve as the season went on. He's the type of kid who plays with the right mindset out there and is going to have an impact one way or another. He could end up being one of the top defenders in the Wesco this winter, and I'm betting on him taking a leap forward as a point guard and offensive threat.

Uttech already took a big step forward last season, but the way he has played this summer suggests he'll be an even more impactful player this winter. He has the size to attack the rim on offense, has the range as a defender to make plays, and continues to improve an already sweet outside shot. He should be a big name in 1A this year and continue to raise his stock.

Babbs has already made big waves this summer, and his elite athleticism is really starting to shine through. But he's also been quietly impressive getting to good spots in the half-court and knocking down shots in the midrange. If he can continue to impact the game defensively and around the rim, and then knock down shots away from the rim, he could be a big breakout player for the Vikings this winter.

Burley was a key guy at Liberty last season with his ability to knock down shots behind the arc, but he's looked even more impressive from deep this summer, and he's steadily improved his ability to attack off the bounce and set up teammates. His game has really rounded out, and he'll be a player to watch out of the KingCo this winter.

As we gear up for the upcoming winter hoop season, let's take a look at ten rising juniors who could be some of this year's breakout players.
