One of the most productive 2028 guards in the Midwest, Mitchell had a big early morning game helping Brad Beal Elite 15 U get off to a 1-0 start. Mitchell came off the bench and provided instant offense with his aggressive scoring mentality. His best play came on a give and go where Mitchell cut and was able to throw down a two hand jam in the half court. Another play that really caught my eye was Mitchell's pull-up 3-pointer when the defender went under the screen against him. Finishing with 20 points on 7/11 from the field with 4 assists to just 1 turnover, Mitchell had himself a nice game in a variety of aspects.

One of the most athletic wings in the country, Bouie has some special ability in transition with his length and explosive athleticism. That was shown when he dunked over two defenders on a strong drive down the lane in traffic for Team Thad as they beat Brad Beal Elite to start 1-0 in pool play. Defensively, Bouie had 3 steals and that allowed Team Thad to play out in transition where they thrive. After a slow first half Bouie banked in a 3-pointer and the switch was flipped as he was the most productive player on the court in the second half. Excited to continue to monitor his development as a prospect.

Joining an already loaded Indy Heat 16 U group, Wright provides another physical big who can rebound, stretch the floor and protect the rim without fouling. Wright made an impact in the paint at both ends of the court with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks on Tuesday. Despite not connecting from long range on Tuesday, Wright still finished with 9 points thanks to his activity without the ball by cutting and running the floor. Hopefully Wright can make this his permanent grassroots home as his upside is tremendous and it is only a matter of time before his recruitment takes a major spike.

You won't find many more polished 2028 prospects in the country than Mercer, who checks a ton of boxes playing up an age group. Mercer passes the ball extremely well thanks to his size, vision and unselfishness. Finishing with 6 assists, Mercer was making the right pass at the right time for his team. Add in the fact Mercer can knock down an open shot and has impressive physical tools to play in transition and you see why he's regarded as a top 10 prospect in the country for the class of 2028.

The leading scorer and rebounder from the EYCL was back at it on Tuesday against EYBL competition at the PIT and Miles had himself another dominant scoring game. Finishing with 38 points, Miles does an excellent job of running the floor, finding points off cuts and offensive rebounds and being opportunistic for steals that lead to layups and open 3-pointers. In the second half Miles went on a crazy run in the corner from 3-point range, almost single-handily leading his team back into the game. Really impressive to see Miles continued production at a high level on display.

Few players helped their stock at Midwest live as much as Plantz did and he was productive again for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075761' first='Ohio' last='Buckets'] Vs EYBL competition as they went 2-0 with wins over Meanstreets and Team Herro on Tuesday. I caught the win over Team Herro where Plantz ended with 6 blocks! That sort of toughness in the paint should help him be a priority for regional scholarship programs and could get some looks at the Division I level as well.

Washington has been a consistent scorer for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075761' first='Ohio' last='Buckets'] all summer and he continued his impressive play on Tuesday with a 17 point and 7 rebound performance in a win over Team Herro. A dynamic movement shooter, Washington hit some tough shots running off screens and using his quick release to beat the defense contests. Also getting to the rim in transition and when he could attack a closeout, Washington found ways to score in the paint when the defense tried running him off the 3-point line. One of the top prospects in Ohio's 2026 class, we'll see if Washington starts to narrow down his list after receiving dozens of offers.
