Today we name the Minnesota 17 and Under All State Team. The best of the best from a great season.

First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='1560778' first='Nolen' last='Anderson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. Nolen was often the most consistent scoring option for the top team in state this year and he's played at a level that moved him from mid major to high major.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560798' first='Lucas' last='Gustafson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Antl. Lucas didn't just play at a high level, he played at his best in clutch, big game scenarios. The amount of game swaying plays he made won the Fury several games.

[player_tooltip player_id='2121332' first='Deron' last='Russell'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select']. The Select season changed when Russell joined the team a couple weeks into the season. His combo guard abilities added an element that allowed Select to have a fantastic second half of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560867' first='Christian' last='Wiggins'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. Wiggins was downright incredible in July in Adidas play and at the Tune Up. He was good/great most of the season in several ways, but he was special in July.

[player_tooltip player_id='2118495' first='Talan' last='Witt'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']. The Comets were better than I think many expected and Talan's explosive scoring ability was a big reason. They won state, they won the Comets Shooutout, they won the Scheels League, and Talan was a big reason why.

Second Team

Jaidyn Coon of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. The explosive Creighton commit from Iowa was the third leading scorer for [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] this year and gave them an explosive off ball scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560882' first='Cedric' last='Tomes'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. Tomes was the conductor of a very talented crew of players that needed a pace setter and distributor, and he handled that job very well. And made shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560827' first='Kale' last='Misegades'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']. The future SMSU Mustang handled a lot of leadership duties on the floor and had the most numbers in all columns for a team that had a great year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560839' first='Xavier' last='Frelix'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select']. Frelix became one of the most dangerous scorers in Minnesota's 17u level of play. He earned multiple D2 chances of play and worked very well with Russell leading the team to wins.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126094' first='Ty' last='Schlagel'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']. Ty was the best all around player on the Panther 17u team playing mostly 17u all season. The 2027 had a strong all around year as a leading scorer and rebounder.

Third Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2119593' first='Lars' last='Osteraas'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Reyes. Lars not only helped his team be a top five team in the state, Lars took the main scoring role and ran with it. It's one thing to do that at 16u but its another thing to do that at 17u.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560747' first='Alex' last='Schroepfer'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Antl. Alex had the face up ability to get rim and score physically or to creatively score with his all around skill. Alex was the second Fury scoring option and he handled that really well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2119596' first='Cooper' last='Fahning'] of Real Phenom. The steps that Cooper took this year are eye opening. He's always been that worker on a team as a defender, rebounder, and worker but he also gave his team face-up scoring and back to the basket results.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560740' first='Dothan' last='Ijadimbola'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. The Dothan 10-10-10 at an Adidas event was a rare thing and a headliner picked up nationally. Dothan had a solid 17u scoring year as another consistent option.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560868' first='Joseph' last='Mitchell III'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']. Mitchell had some scoring games where nobody could stop him. His Sunday at the Tune Up was very high level basketball and he had a great June as well.

Fourth Team

[player_tooltip player_id='1560835' first='Tian' last='Chatman'] of Team FSA. Tian can pretty much give his team whatever is needed at both the one and the two.

[player_tooltip player_id='1437598' first='Dane' last='Danielson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select']. Dane showed that he can score as a three, and as a four, and he did it in a way that helped Select win a lot of games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560795' first='Maddox' last='Lewis'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Elite. Maddox set nets ablaze all 17u season especially in out of state games when teams didn't figure out who the perimeter shooter was until it was too late.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560847' first='Tommy' last='Shunmugavelu'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Antl. The modern game loves the skilled, smart big that sets the initial screen, that catches in high post and moves the ball or can face, and then plays hard in the paint. Tommy did that for the AAAA state champ, and the National 17u champ.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560791' first='Muaath' last='Muhammad'] of Real Phenom. The toughness and intelligence of Mu at lead guard made this Phenom team better. In every way. Love the way he plays a smart, tough, consistent game.

Fifth Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2118474' first='Ethan' last='Martin'] of Minnesota Swish. The Swish was a top ten level teams and the face-up game of Martin was a big reason why.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560769' first='Ethan' last='Sonju'] of Minnesota Swish. Few players on this list scored as much and as consistently as Sonju.

[player_tooltip player_id='2100912' first='Stephen' last='McGee'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Elite. What a step this young man took as a rim finisher, shot blockers, and rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560851' first='Hamze' last='Yusuf'] of Hoop Habits. One of the toughest players to stop on the ball in the state. Tough to keep him in front, tough to contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1521424' first='Kayden' last='Oakland'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Antl. Became the worker, defender, rebounder, active off ball scorer and did it at a high level.

Sixth Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2120492' first='Ethan' last='Miller'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] DeLo. Ethan is strong enough to play in the paint and get big results, but skilled enough to have perimeter comfort.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560739' first='Max' last='Iversen'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. Injury led to some missed games but Max had a strong 17u year when on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2860073' first='Brady' last='Lam'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select']. One of the stories of the summer, Brady has taken massive steps forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2465510' first='Mark' last='Graff'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075449' first='East' last='Metro Bounce']. [player_tooltip player_id='2465510' first='Mark' last='Graff'] might be the best D3 level recruit that you aren't recruiting right now. Tough, skilled and smart.

[player_tooltip player_id='2381759' first='Reggie' last='Parker'] of Minnesota Lace Up. [player_tooltip player_id='2381759' first='Reggie' last='Parker'] did those tough, double-double explosive things that made him a recruit D2 teams are looking at.

Seventh Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2271330' first='Trey' last='Parker'] of Real Phenom

[player_tooltip player_id='1960892' first='Henry' last='Knutson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Reyes

[player_tooltip player_id='2575642' first='Kobbe' last='Willis'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] Conyers

[player_tooltip player_id='1560828' first='Rylan' last='McPipe'] of Real Phenom

[player_tooltip player_id='1560831' first='Levi' last='Harris'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Elite

Eighth Team

[player_tooltip player_id='1560850' first='Tristan' last='Hanson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] Conyers

[player_tooltip player_id='2115655' first='Ryan' last='Kreager'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']

[player_tooltip player_id='2823917' first='Gunner' last='Liebl'] of Southwest MN Stars

Ninth Team
