Alex’s play in bursts was one of the bright spots in the loss for Eagan. He showed he’s capable of going up against length and athleticism and still getting into/making his shots. Hopkins was often putting their top defenders on him, and Alex was still able to get into that mid-range jumper and connect on a handful of occasions. He had a team leading 16 points to go along with 8 rebounds in the event’s marquee game.
