The summer is not yet over. Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground coverage from the annual GRBA National Championship in Fort Wayne this weekend to cap off a great run of event coverage. However, there are a lot of programs that have gone ahead and shut things down for the summer. With the slate starting become a little lighter we wanted to go ahead and starting look big picture at the summer and highlighting some stock-risers beginning here with eight names in the rising senior class that clearly deserve some special recognition.

We've had Grau on our radar as a prospect to watch at Westview High School for a couple of years now and were very impressed with his development when watching him earlier this summer at the annual Bill Hensley Memorial Run N Slam in Fort Wayne. The 6'4" wing has a versatile offensive game showcasing the ability to finish above the rim on drives to the basket, make open catch-and-shoot three-point shots, and create mid-range jump shots for himself. He is a fluid athlete with the size and strength to be a real perimeter matchup problem. Grau is coming off of a solid weekend where he averaged 23.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. He will be playing with 5Star - Beadles at the GRBA National Championship this coming weekend in Fort Wayne.

Throughout this spring and summer Hiteshew has really showcased his expanded offensive game. The 6'4" wing has great positional size that allows him to bully some smaller defenders on his way to the basket while also being quick and skilled enough to beat larger defenders off of the dribble. Hiteshew's perimeter shooting has taken a leap as well which makes him that much more dangerous as an offensive weapon. The rising senior at Leo High School averaged 20.6 points per game down in Augusta with LVL Up 17u and will be playing this coming weekend at GRBA Nationals in Fort Wayne.

Horvath is a heavily recruited football prospect as well, but on the hardwood he has been posting some absolutely monster numbers during the month of July with [program_tooltip program_id='2814675' first='Indiana' last='Eclipse']. The 6'9" center has been a double-double machine with several 20-30 point outputs. He has excellent interior footwork for his size, makes real post moves when he gets a catch on the block, and does a great job of clearing out space on the glass. College programs always need size and Horvath, a rising senior at Mishawaka Marian High School, is as big as they come along with being a high academic prospect. [program_tooltip program_id='2814675' first='Indiana' last='Eclipse'] will be competing at the GRBA Nationals this coming weekend.

Throughout this spring and summer we've been impressed with the end-to-end quickness and downhill explosiveness of this rising senior point guard that will be transferring from Heritage Christian to University. McGee has been a consistent star for INB Elite at Prep Hoops Circuit events showcasing his playmaking ability. He has a very quick first step, a real burst when elevating to finish, and consistently converts with both hands up around the rim. Small college coaches can look for him and his INB Elite teammates this coming weekend at GRBA Nationals in Fort Wayne.

Every year Packer has continued to expand his game and now heading into his senior year at South Bend Riley High School he has rounded into a solid college prospect. The 6'3" guard is still at his best as a high percentage catch-and-shoot shot maker, but he has really grown into a well-rounded scorer. Packer can put the ball on the floor and attack closeouts, use his positional size to score against smaller defenders, and even has flashed some playmaking ability for his teammates. Additionally, Packer is a very high academic prospect. Finishing the summer with Indiana Attack Basketball Club, Packer averaged 25.5 points per game last weekend will participate in GRBA Nationals this coming weekend in Fort Wayne.

Coming off of a strong spring and summer with Region Elite, Spurgeon has proven himself as a solid small college prospect. His three-point shooting ability has always been intriguing, but he has showcased what he can do as a primary ball handler recently as well. After playing alongside two scholarship-level players last season at Jimtown, look for this rising senior to have a breakout season this winter for the Jimmies. He has received an offer from Judson and should continue to bring in more and more opportunities.

We had the opportunity to watch Swoveland quite a bit at the 3SSB Palmetto Road Championship in Rock Hill, South Carolina as his [program_tooltip program_id='2400000' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Indiana'] squad qualified after an excellent spring on the Adidas Gold Circuit. The 6'7" forward was excellent around the basket with quick drop steps in the post, smooth face-up jump shots, and quick right hand drives from the mid-post. He is a physical presence inside as well finishing at a high percentage and showing plenty of willingness to bang around on the boards. The rising senior at Jay County High School is an under-the-radar front court prospect that small college programs should be taking a hard look at.

One of the lone returners to the Evansville Reitz lineup, Tolliver started to turn some heads at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June. He checks a lot of boxes right away in terms of athletic and physically tools, but has also been highly productive as a scorer and rebounder. The 6'4" wing put up some big numbers last weekend with Craig Porter Elite. He is a good straight line driver with the size and athleticism to get up and finishing consistent around the basket. Tolliver also projects as a multi-positional defender at the next level. He is a solid under-the-radar prospect with checking out as heads into his senior season.
