Swoveland’s offensive versatility at his size is what makes him so intriguing to college coaches. He is a legitimate 6’6″-6’7″ with solid perimeter skill including catch-and-shoot ability. The Jay County High School prospect averaged 10.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game as a junior and looks ready to breakout even further this coming winter as a senior. Swoveland has attracted a good deal of small college interest so far and expect that to continue throughout his senior season leading up to when he makes a final decision.

We had the opportunity to watch Swoveland quite a bit at the 3SSB Palmetto Road Championship in Rock Hill, South Carolina as his Indiana Elite Team Indiana squad qualified after an excellent spring on the Adidas Gold Circuit. The 6’7″ forward was excellent around the basket with quick drop steps in the post, smooth face-up jump shots, and quick right hand drives from the mid-post. He is a physical presence inside as well finishing at a high percentage and showing plenty of willingness to bang around on the boards. The rising senior at Jay County High School is an under-the-radar front court prospect that small college programs should be taking a hard look at.

- Strong, long frame on the wing
- One of the better defenders I saw over the entire weekend. Guarded both inside-and-out but long term suited as a consitent perimeter defender.
- Good scorer off the dribble.

Swoveland had a huge influence around the rim at The Stage. He was incredibly active on the glass on both ends of the floor which limited possessions for opponents and extended them for his own team. If Swoveland got position on the left block, the rebound was his.
