Thomas should help move the needle for Mt. Vernon (Fortville) and help make them a legitimate state title contender in 2025-2026. The 6’5″ wing is one of the best, most versatile defenders in the state of Indiana. He is super athletic, excellent in transition, and a tough right hand driver in the half court. It will be anxious to see where Thomas’ recruitment winds up in the coming months.

Thomas is a bit of tweener but to my eye he has the makings of a bruising downhill forward. His ability to touch the paint on the attack was one of his best traits he frequently showed throughout the game I watched. He has no qualms about throwing his body around the when navigating to the bucket. Thomas has a nice blend of size, strength and quickness. He made several trips to the foul line a place where he converted often. His length allows him to cover ground with ease. He plays a smash mouth brand of basketball which is very old school.

Thomas’ ability to plug-and-play alongside talented teammates is a big reason why he is so attractive to college coaches. The 6’4″ athletic wing has seamlessly transition from Lawrence North to Mt. Vernon (Fortville) and was excellent once again in a showcase setting at the Top 100 workout. He dominated in transition, attacked closeouts in a straight line to his right, and guarded every position on the floor. Scholarship opportunities should be coming his way very soon.

is a Top 15 prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings. The 6’4″ guard is one of the more impressive, up-and-coming two-way guards in the state. His defensive upside is really impressive with his combination of athleticism and length. Offensively, Thomas handles the ball well and can play well above the rim. There are a lot of tools for Division I programs to like as he enters his junior year at Lawrence North High School.

A second standout from the Lawrence North junior class at The Expo, Thomas continues to put himself on the radar of Division I programs. The 6’4″-6’5″ wing is poised for a breakout junior season as one of the most athletically gifted two-way perimeter prospects in the Class of 2026. Thomas handles the ball well enough to create some, but really shines in transition and when attacking closeouts in a straight line downhill. Then, defensively, Thomas has as much upside as any perimeter defender in the class. He was able to consistently dominate in the open floor on Sunday evening.
