The concept of the old school point guard who elevates his teammates seems to be going the way of the dinosaurs. But in Craven's case, he's fighting against extinction. As it's evident whenever he's on the floor; the offense simply flows better. He'll get the team into sets and keep the ball moving. Add in the tenacity he plays as a disruptor on defense and it's obvious that Cravens is a player who's impact goes beyond the box score. It was good to see him locked in and improving his team whenever he was on the floor. As while his team suffered a tough last second loss, Cravens will be a key part of any bounce back.

It's been a pretty crazy grassroots season for Williamson. From being watched playing in small local tournaments to now producing on the Nike EYBL Circuit with 18 points, 6 rebounds for Houston Hoops 16U. What stood out back in May was the clear next level potential he had with legit size and plus athleticism. He shot it well in that viewing. But when first watching a prospect, it's fair to ask if that the shooting was a good day or a regular occurrence. Producing against national competition is a good sign that it's a regular occurrence. And he's ready to rise rapidly with a potential junior year leap.

This spring, Bradshaw started to leverage his outstanding potential into more production. That continued in game one for ProSkills' 16U squad with a team high 21 points on 14 shots. The promising wing prospect moves exceptionally well for his size and after a quiet sophomore season. Not many prospects in Oklahoma at his size can move like this.

One of Oklahoma's most promising 2028s filled up the stat sheet at the 15U level. With 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Murry has a silky shot, and appears to be coming fully into his own as an all around guard. Setting the stage for him to potentially to be one of the better guards in not only in the Class of 2028 but all of Oklahoma as a sophomore for an exciting PCN team.

Winners win, and that's what Wilks continues to do for a MOKAN squad positioning themselves to make a run at next week's Peach Jam title. The Millwood guard had 13 points, handed out 3 assists and impressively was recorded 4 steals in the win. Wilks is a producer, who plays with the required chip on his shoulder and pride needed for sub 6 foot guards to make a big impact. And he's proving that on the national level once again.

Watching players grow over the course of a grassroots summer is one of the most fascinating parts of this job. At the first EYBL stop, Gaines looked a step off the pace. The next one, he settled back in and his prolific shooting ability was on display. This time, he still hit from distance while overall looking fully comfortable and being a bright spot in a loss. He's currently skinny, but has some toughness when it comes to battling around the paint. The Woodward Boomer continues to make impressive all around steps as one of the better players in what appears to be a deep Class of 2028 in Oklahoma.
