It wasn’t quite a year ago that Williamson was knocking down threes and looking athletic in a small local AAU tournament. At time he was a PCO player, who said he was transferring to SAS. He looked promising, and figured he was a name to keep tabs on as a potentially good high school player. Because there are quite a lot of times the production in the up and down nature of smaller grassroots doesn’t always translate to the more structured setting of high school basketball. And of course eventually college.
Since then, Williamson has proven he’s an outstanding player. It started in the summer when he produced in E16 action with Houston Hoops. Then has carried over to high school. In one SAS win this season, he sat the school record for three pointers made (9). The way he shoots the ball from deep at his size and athleticism is a separator when compared to many other players in Oklahoma. It’s been a rapid ascension and he might not be finished rising. There is the potential that this time next year, Williamson could be in conversation as one of the top overall prospects in the state.

Started hot in the first, and then reached an even higher level of flame throwing in the third. Hit threes of all varieties. Catch and shoot, pull up, even off balance makes. It was one of the best shooting performances watched this season. What makes it even more impressive is his combination of size and athleticism. Long wingspan and leaping ability allowed him to make an impressive on the ball block. And he has smoothness when pulling up off the dribble. Is one of the most improved players in Oklahoma over the last year. While still appearing to only being scratching the surface of his potential.

Williamson’s ascension continues, with him putting on sizzling shooting displays during 3 on 3 play. The quality perimeter shooting is becoming a trend with him. And he was unselfish with the way he pitched it ahead in transition. He’s quickly gone from a prospect who passes the eye test, to being considered among the better players in 2027.
He also played with an outstanding motor with relentless drives and making an impact on the defensive end. He got his hands in the passing lane and went for steals. While also contesting shots at the rim with his good athleticism and wingspan. It’s clear that Williamson has continued to stack days, and plays with a hunger.
If he maintains that hungry approach, Classen SAS will be in position to surprise people this winter. And Williamson will become a must know prospect.

It’s been a pretty crazy grassroots season for Williamson. From being watched playing in small local tournaments to now producing on the Nike EYBL Circuit with 18 points, 6 rebounds for Houston Hoops 16U. What stood out back in May was the clear next level potential he had with legit size and plus athleticism. He shot it well in that viewing. But when first watching a prospect, it’s fair to ask if that the shooting was a good day or a regular occurrence. Producing against national competition is a good sign that it’s a regular occurrence. And he’s ready to rise rapidly with a potential junior year leap.

Rising sophomore with good size and frame for an off guard. Early contributions include good shooting from the perimeter, then he got it going in transition. Where he showed good athleticism. Has moments of locking in on defense too, where he uses his quickness and strength advantage to hound opposing smaller guards. Name to track as he joins a new high school, Classen SAS.
