played with a fearless presence, combining electric speed and sharp playmaking instincts to establish himself as a dynamic floor general. His ability to push the pace and keep defenses on their heels was second to none. Whether breaking down defenders off the dribble or threading precise passes, he consistently created opportunities for his teammates, elevating the play of everyone around him. In the mid-range, Jones showcased a reliable quick-release runner, particularly around the elbows. This move proved effective against both on-ball pressure and rotating help-side defenders. His touch and body control allowed him to get his shot off cleanly, even over taller contests. With his blend of confidence, quick decision-making, and scoring versatility, Jones was a constant threat whenever he had the ball in his hands.

Cayden is a smooth young PG that has a good IQ and tight handle. Cayden likes to work off of ball screens and makes the appropriate reads. Cayden is also a good defender and will pick his opponent up full court and apply steady pressure. Jones is a player that can make in impact versus other top guards in his class. His growth and continued improvement could lead him to becoming one of the elite guards in the 2030 class.

Cayden made his presence felt immediately by talking and directing teammates on defense and is crafty with his handle and court vision offensively. Competes super hard and was the vocal leader for his team. Capable shooter when he decided to seek his own shot.

Cayden is a confident, skilled point guard that is a force on both ends of the floor. He’s got great shooting form and doesn’t hesitate to let it fly when he has a nice look at the rim. He’s an intelligent passer, often placing the ball where only the intended target can get hands on it. He’s a talented ballhandler and uses that ability to work his way into spots that are nearly impossible to defend. He’s an absolutely tenacious defender – one of the best I saw on the day – and he’ll eagerly press his opponent the entire length of the court and make their day increasingly difficult. He’s a nice finisher on the fast break and he’s vocal on the hardwood, which is great to see at such a young age. He can also clean the glass on both ends and cleverly draw contact to get extra trips to the free throw line. Jones has a ton of potential and I can’t wait to see it come to fruition.
