Phenom United 15 U blew out their opposition on Friday morning with a guard dominated effort. I already spotlighted three of their standout guards in my other article from today which leaves Kelly as the last remaining standout performer. Kelly is an athletic wing forward who runs the floor, can jump and is active in the paint. When you already have impressive athletic ability and combine basic skills like motor, finishing and rebounding, you have a strong chance of being a productive player at the 15 U level. I'll be curious if Kelly can add to his perimeter skill but I love that he flat out competes every time I've seen him play.

Evans has been rebounding the ball at an elite level for a Midwest Basketball Club 16 U squad that is undersized but getting the job done here in Rock Hill. Evans scored on the interior with a putback layup, a step through and an and-1 finish as his aggressiveness in the paint was a plus. Defensively Evans bothered the opposition with his activity on the ball and he slid over to take a charge. Nice to see Evans find a quality team to make an impact on after he was sidelined with an injury during a majority of the May live period.

An early commit in the 2027 class, Logsdon announced a Western Kentucky commitment at the end of June. I watched Logsdon twice this week, including once with his future college head coach. Logsdon is one of the most talented scorers in Kentucky as he can fill it up with size on the wing. What I didn't realize about Logsdon until recently was how impactful of a defender he was. A tough kid who uses active hands to strip the ball and contest without fouling, Logsdon scraps and claws on that end of the court. Even when his shot isn't falling, Logsdon has found a way to help his team win at the circuit level.

I was impressed with Tennessee Impact 15 U this week and despite a loss today, their team battled and remained competitive against a very talented Team Loaded squad. McNear did some things to help his team on both Wednesday and Friday that caught my eye. For starters, McNear has an extremely long wingspan and looks like an athlete physically. Finishing a couple of reverse layups at the rim, McNear loved using the rim as protection when going up. Also showing a basic understanding of moving the basketball, McNear was unselfish to swing the ball to the open man when required. Still in the early stages of his development and definitely has plenty of room to grow, I was still encouraged by what McNear showed me this week.

Another prospect who has had multiple impact games this week, Bronston's best game was probably on Wednesday as he earns a deserved shoutout for his efforts on a Phenom United 16 U squad that's in the elite 8. I was really impressed with Bronston's passing out of the post, making some advanced kickout passes and showing some confidence with the ball in his hands. Bronston has also flashed a 3-point shot this week when left open. Hoping to see Bronston take that next step this winter and become one of the most dominant paint presences in southwest Ohio, he has the physical tools to become that type of player.
