Brawl For The Ball - Standouts Part 2

<p>There was a lot of high quality basketball being played at Brawl For The Ball last weekend. His handles are at a different level. He was electric on the offensive end, keeping defenders on a string and creating lanes. Summerville showed that he can both shoot from beyond the arc and attack off the bounce with quickness and creatibity.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">It's fun to see how far VanWagner has come over the last calendar year. There's a new found confidence in himself and in his game that's allowing for his physical traits and skills to take over. Last year I wanted to see him utilize his strength and size and dominate down low, then play inside-out as his opponents schemed him. He's doing a lot of that now and it's paying dividends.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Morrish once again continued his excellent grassroots season. The silky smooth guard put his game on repeat. As always, you could see his versatility in the backcourt. Morrish could score at a high level, but was a more than willing passer and facilitator.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Talladay has to be on some recruiting boards at this point. After dominating the paint averaging a points and rebounds double-double at the NY2LA last week, he did just the same at the Brawl For The Ball. Talladay was an elite defender and shot blocker as well. Easily 1 of the best in the gym when discussing help defenders in the paint. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Murphy made his Midwest Stampede debut and it was easy to see what the buzz was all about. He's dynamic and explosive offensively, that was easy to see. But he was a willing passer that was able to gel with a new team very quickly. Murphy was engaged and attentive at every timeout.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Gugle was doing Gugle things at the Brawl For The Ball. I really like the way he's becoming a true wing/guard and taking ball handling and passing responsibilities. This helps him become a dual threat player and therefore creates easier opportunities for him to attack the rim or get a clean look from outside.</p>
