I was impressed with how skilled Morrish was with the basketball for his height. Able to put the ball on the deck and change directions, Morrish could attack going both ways and spaced the floor with a couple jumpers. Morrish’s best move of the game I caught came on a baseline drive where he was fouled on a reverse layup. While Morrish has a perimeter based offensive game, he’ll likely be guarding wings and forwards defensively and should allow his college program to play a spread-out attack.

I’ve seen Morrish play a few times now in various settings, fall ball, travel, and in the HS regular season. I can confidently say that I’m a fan of his game. Logan is an exceptional passer who connected on multiple deep-transition balls Friday night at the Storm Classic. Also, his on-court communication amongst teammates and willingness to cheer from the sidelines help contribute to my fandom. I would expect for him to have another solid summer with Inspire U on the Prep Hoops Circuit.

Let’s not underestimate what Morrish did in the championship win for Hartland. The junior was EASILY one of the best players in the game. He hit multiple triples, including contested 3’s from the top and from the wing. That being said, 2 of his best plays of the day may have come off the pass. Twice he kicked the ball across the lane and under the rim for an assist, using both a swing pass and a bounce pass to get the ball to his teammate.

Morrish was really impressive in Hartland’s win against DeLaSalle. He showed that he could score in a variety of ways. He hit catch and shoot 3’s and was also able to attack and score from the line. Morrish played really smart basketball. I loved 1 possession when followed a post seal and finished with a layup.

Morrish is a special talent with a VERY high ceiling. He’s a long guard that can play effectively both on and off the ball. Morrish can play over the top of most defenders, both with the pass and the shot. He has a high basketball IQ with a good game between the ears.

Hartland picked up a big early season win with a 58-47 win against St. Clair. Morrish was the same Morrish that I saw all spring and summer. He scored 17 critical points in the win. All signs point to a huge junior season for the star guard.

Morrish made statement after statement during grassroots season. I started the spring VERY high on him as a player and he did nothing but confirm those thoughts. Morrish can create space and shoot over the top of a closeout. But he also plays unselfish basketball, always willing to give it up for a better look.

Morrish once again continued his excellent grassroots season. The silky smooth guard put his game on repeat. As always, you could see his versatility in the backcourt. Morrish could score at a high level, but was a more than willing passer and facilitator.

Morrish has had a terrific spring and summer and has established himself as a highly regarded player in the class of 2027. He’s a skilled and smooth guard that can walk into a jumper as well as create, gain balance, and get his shot off. Morrish is the kind of player that you want in your locker room as well.

Morrish can flat out play. The long and athletic guard once again showed the ability to create shots with and without the ball in his hands. I love his versatility in those instances. Morrish facilitate and dish, as well as be a high level scorer.
