A player who had a strong end to his junior season, Long has some nice momentum heading into his final grassroots summer and stood out for the Cincy Reapers on Saturday morning. Long is a physical forward who scored with his back to the basket multiple times, not shying away from contact in the paint and setting strong screens where he could roll to the rim. Long also almost sent the game to overtime with a good look from 3-point range that went in and out at the buzzer. If I'm a small college coach, I'm trying to get my eyes on this Cincy Reapers group a couple times this summer.

A player who first got on our radar by showing up to the Prep Hoops Sophomore showcase, Dillon has continued to work and improve heading into his senior season. I liked how Dillon was physical on drives as he created his own contact and having defenders bounce off him. Able to attack closeouts and finish on balance, Dillon found success as a slasher on Saturday. Displaying a high basketball IQ, Dillon scored off a give and go play that caught my eye. After scoring 8 PPG for Loveland last season and getting named to the honorable mention all ECC team, he could be a first or second team all-conference player as a senior.

There were a lot of players on the Inspire U team who stood out but Carson might've been the most impressive of the group. Carson could really shoot from long distance as the wing guard has a smooth jumper with his feet set. Late in the game, Carson had an excellent steal to help secure a win. Add in the fact that Carson played on balance and didn't force the issue, he looks like a priority small college recruit.

I was impressed with how skilled Morrish was with the basketball for his height. Able to put the ball on the deck and change directions, Morrish could attack going both ways and spaced the floor with a couple jumpers. Morrish's best move of the game I caught came on a baseline drive where he was fouled on a reverse layup. While Morrish has a perimeter based offensive game, he'll likely be guarding wings and forwards defensively and should allow his college program to play a spread-out attack.

I was impressed with the ball movement that Inspire U played with, and Pearson was an unselfish off guard who had a couple assists out in transition. Doing a little bit of everything, Pearson blocked a shot and took it coast to coast for a layup. In a key moment in the second half, Pearson scored off a nice BLOB set. A guard who knows how to play within a system, Pearson is one of a handful of strong small college targets from Inspire U.

The big man in the paint, Hunter did the dirty work for Inspire U with strong rebounding and interior scoring. Starting the second half by getting fouled on a putback layup attempt, Hunter wanted to catch and finish close to the rim. Hunter showed soft touch with his back to the basket and slipped a screen to knock down a push shot. I'd imagine Hunter gets a lot of small college interest this summer if he continues to produce at the level I saw on Saturday morning.
