Murphy caught my eye at the Hillsdale College Elite Camp. I really liked his unselfishness and decision making at the event. Murphy was able to put defenders on his hip off the bounce and touch paint with the ball in his hands. From there, defenses collapsed and he found teammates in high percentage positions.

Murphy made his Midwest Stampede debut and it was easy to see what the buzz was all about. He’s dynamic and explosive offensively, that was easy to see. But he was a willing passer that was able to gel with a new team very quickly. Murphy was engaged and attentive at every timeout.

Murphy definitely made his presence felt at the event. His combination of power and handles was probably what stood out the most to me. Murphy was quick and concise with his dribble, helping him to be aggressive off of every bounce. He attacked defenders and powered through finishes.
