I’ve seen a ton of Landon Talladay and I’m going back to see more this weekend if the roster is accurate. Talladay is an elite post defender and a very physical rebounder. And his frame allows him to play that way. Talladay is terrific in help defense scenarios. Offensively, he has a pretty mid range jumper.

. This young man can absolutely dominate on the glass. He showed one of the purest mid range jumpers and elite post defense this summer with the Midwest Stampede.

Talladay is coming off a breakout spring and summer with the Midwest Stampede and is continuing to play outstanding basketball. There were times in the game against Riverview that he dominated the glass. It felt like he had a handful of put back buckets. We saw Talladay’s lights out mid range jumper this summer and we saw it in this game when he buried a fall away baseline shot.

Talladay had a breakout spring and summer with the Midwest Stampede North. He flat out has next level strength and toughness. Talladay can work as a screener and can even step outside and shoot. Defensively, he’s a beast. Talladay can out-physical players, even bigger ones. He’s a top notch shot blocker and rim protector.

Talladay had a breakout summer to say the least. This young man brought energy and intensity every minute he was on the floor. Talladay’s game is diverse. He physically dominated a 6-10 center one game, then was burying mid range jumpers with touch the next. Talladay averaged well over 10 rebounds a game through grassroots season.

There was no forward in the state that had a bigger breakout summer than Talladay. He was the best 17u rebounder and post defender in the gym at a MADE Hoops event in Memphis. Talladay dominated the glass all summer and also showed a terrific mid range game. He’d be must see at The Expo.

Talladay has to be on some recruiting boards at this point. After dominating the paint averaging a points and rebounds double-double at the NY2LA last week, he did just the same at the Brawl For The Ball. Talladay was an elite defender and shot blocker as well. Easily 1 of the best in the gym when discussing help defenders in the paint.

Talladay has been 1 of the biggest break out players this spring and summer. He had the gym buzzing in Aurora, IL last week as he laid down 4 points and rebounds double-doubles in 4 games. Talladay is also an elite defender that has good feet and is quick to help. He is a must see player this weekend.

Quite simply, Talladay was one of the best bigs in the gym. He had what I call a double double-double in game 1, scoring 25 points and grabbing 20 rebounds. Talladay never let up the rest of the way, finishing with a points and rebounds double-double in EVERY SINGLE GAME. That wasn’t all though. He was excellent defensively, challenging and blocking shots by staying vertical.
