Our July travels took us to Rock Hill, South Carolina for the 3SSB Palmetto Road Championship, North Augusta, South Carolina for the Peach Jam, and Fort Wayne, Indiana for the GRBA National Championship. However, we always keep eyes and ears in gyms all across the country in order to ensure that we are covering the state of Indiana to the level that it deserves. Now that the summer grassroots season is finished we will take a look across all circuits and highlight some of the top performers, stock-risers, and new names. Here are some of the stock-risers from various July events.

Reports coming out of Orlando at the NXT Pro Championships were that this strong, stocky, 6'1" guard from Christel House Manual was playing very well for [program_tooltip program_id='2129012' first='Circle' last='City Shooters'] 17u. Brigham Jr. will end up being a four-year major contributor for his high school team. He is hard to handle off of the dribble due to being physically stronger than most other lead guards. His ability to play through contact and then bully defenders to finish inside is a trait that not a ton of other guards have. Heading into his senior season Brigham Jr. is an under-the-radar backcourt piece worth checking out.

We know that this 6'2" rising senior guard from New Haven High School can put the ball in the basket. He is a quick-twitch athlete with some vertical burst that he uses both as a finisher and to get elevation on his jump shot. Ezell can create in tight windows and is a good shot-maker against pressure defense. He has the ability to create separation and get his shot off whenever he wants. That ability has been on display this summer consistently with LVL UP 17u. Look for him to have a big senior season proving himself as one of the most talented offensive players in the greater Fort Wayne area.

Always known as a high-IQ, high-motor guard, Fine has really started to showoff his playmaking ability over the last couple of months. Playing in a backcourt at Noblesville with two Division I prospects, Fine is a good change of pace option for the Millers. Then, with Indiana Basketball Club Select 17u he has been able to show off what he can do when given more offensive responsibility. Fine consistently drives it hard, plays off of two feet, and does a great job of making the right decision when he gains an advantage in the paint. He is capable of finishing in a variety of ways or making any pass on the floor. Small college programs should check out this under-the-radar guard through his senior season.

Another under-the-radar Noblesville High School product, Flanagan is a knockdown left-handed catch-and-shoot threat. At the recent Prep Hoops Open National Championship the 6'3" wing shot an incredible 19-31 (61.3%) from beyond the arc while averaging 16.8 points per game. Playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2471005' first='Legacy' last='Ice Elite'], Flanagan has proven himself as one of the best catch-and-shoot threats in the rising senior class this spring and summer. Small college programs that value shooting ability and want someone from a winning program should absolutely take a look at Flanagan.

We had the opportunity to watch Gore shoot the lights out in Rock Hill, South Carolina as [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] 16u qualified for the 3SSB Championship. The 5'10" guard looks ready to step into a role within the Zionsville High School backcourt this coming season as a consistent outside shot-maker. He gets his attempts off in a hurry, has shown the ability to make them on the move, and is a good enough to ball handler to create separation for shots that way as well. Anytime you can put pressure on the defense from well beyond the arc it will eventually make you an intriguing prospect. Gore is on his way to becoming just that.

Kobe parlayed a strong month of June with Portage High School into a great finish to the summer in July with [program_tooltip program_id='2399422' first='Darius' last='Garland Elite'] 16u on the New Balance P32 Circuit. The 6'1" guard is capable of playing both on or off of the ball. He is a good enough creator off of the bounce to attract the attention of multiple defenders when running the point, but is also a good enough shooter that he is hard to help off of when he doesn't have the ball. That makes Kobe hard to handle offensively. He is an improving, under-the-radar prospect in the Class of 2027.

It has been a steady climb throughout the spring and summer for this 5'11" guard out of New Albany High School. He first really burst onto the scene at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June as a spark off of the bench for the Bulldogs. The defensive impact he made instantly changed the game while also providing ball handling on the offensive end of the floor. Then, at the beginning of July, he was a standout at the Adidas Invitational. McKee wrapped up his strong summer by averaging 12.8 points per game for Indiana Elite - Wetzel 16u at the GRBA National Championship in Fort Wayne.

Osswald put up some massive numbers down in Orlando at the NXT Pro Championship over the weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] Black 17u. The versatile, 6'5" lefty had 32 points and 7 rebounds in one contest and 26 points and 10 rebounds in another against some strong competition. What he brings to the table as a hybrid forward that can score inside and outside has turned him into an intriguing small college prospect heading into his senior season at Hamilton Southeastern High School.
