They were a dynamic trio of guards who turned things up defensively and really showcased their abilities to play free and above the rim. They kept the crowd on their feet for most of their game as they played fast and pushed the pace with their pressure defense.

[program_tooltip program_id='2370554' first='Carolina' last='Rockets'] made their return as well led by the McKoy cousins, [player_tooltip player_id='1280878' first='Antonio' last='McKoy'] and Dashaun McKoy as well as [player_tooltip player_id='1280903' first='King' last='Sanders'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1220125' first='Jossiah' last='Johnson']. Both [player_tooltip player_id='1280878' first='Antonio' last='McKoy'] and Johnson were impressive in showcasing their versatility on the hardwood. McKoy is set to draw a ton of HM attention once the HS season gets going as should his cousin, Dashaun. Sanders recently announced he's headed to OTE and the City Reapers.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] was put to the ultimate test as a mixture of their 2026-29 teams combined to form a solid group of eight prospects headlined by [player_tooltip player_id='2623267' first='AJ' last='Morman'], [player_tooltip player_id='1797959' first='Keyshawn' last='Herring'], [player_tooltip player_id='2382809' first='Trevor' last='Manhertz'], [player_tooltip player_id='2857137' first='Aaron' last='Parker'] Jr. and [player_tooltip player_id='2953068' first='Travis' last='Cooper'].
Prospects on the Rise

Garrett Hemry was an impressive name for the WBA Kinston Wolves alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1411218' first='Shelby' last='Cherry Jr'].. Cherry did well at showcasing his ability to get downhill and make things happen in the painted area as a driver and distributor. He's a prospect to get to know over at New Bern High. Hemry was a force to be reckoned with as he showed he could make things happen in a variety of ways. He forced overtime with a leaning 3-pointer with 5.5 seconds left in regulation. He's a prospect for DII/DIII/JUCO programs to get their eyes on over at Havelock High.

[player_tooltip player_id='2303320' first='Kobe' last='Edgerton'] suited up with Hoop Stars 2026 and was impressive in showcasing his ability to knock down tough shots from distance. He poured in 32 points against Elite One Ballers 2025 group, sporting a more polished frame and smooth handling off the dribble. He was quite the leader on the hardwood this past Saturday who stood out.

[player_tooltip player_id='2623276' first='Jeremiah' last='Harper'] was another impressive prospect who stood out with the [program_tooltip program_id='2077055' first='7th' last='Nation Warriors']. He led them to a comeback victory as he took command of the offense and showed he could get downhill and create off the bounce with ease on Saturday. He's a prospect to keep an eye out for over at Trinity Christian School this upcoming HS season.
