Rush is another prospect for DI programs to get to know given his athleticism and ability to operate with and without the ball in his hands at the point guard spot. He’s a menacing presence defensively who knows how to turn opponents over in bunches and wreak havoc in the fast break. In the halfcourt, he’s impressive off the catch and as a finisher around the rim with his budding athleticism. He’ll be a steal for a DI in the region very soon.

Rush should see his recruitment hit an uptick this weekend with 1 of 1 Elite as he continues to showcaseh is skillset. He’s an electric point guard who knows how to make an impact on both ends with his ability to get paint touches and defend at a high level. D1 programs would be wise to track him this week. He’ll be one to keep an eye on on the Pro16 League circuit this week as he looks to make his mark as a top backcourt presence.

Rush was electric in his groups win over Team Trezz Edwards, and really pushed the defense beyond what they could handle. He’s got really quick speed and burst in transition and on drives, which opens up plenty of lanes for teammates to make plays. He’s a good passer with vision above and below the rim, hitting dumpoffs and kickouts consistently. He knocked down a few jumpers as well, making him a threat that can’t just be left open all the time. Lots of growth is still ahead for him, but he ran the show today for his 1 of 1 group.
