[player_tooltip player_id='2396870' first='Jai'Dan' last='Richardson'] is a physical wing/forward who plays like a true offensive mismatch. When his number's called by his coach, he delivers, either bullying smaller defenders down low or showing off that iso bag from the high post for baskets. He's skilled, strong, and showed flashes of dominance playing up in age. Once his motor starts running without needing a motivational push, he'll be a problem. I liked what I saw.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421026' first='Samuel' last='Rich'] plays up with ease. And it appeared that he played on two teams this weekend which showcases the love for the game. His long, fluid frame and polished game translate against older competition. He's a true three-level scorer who knows how to get to his spots as he was knocking down shots, moving off-ball, and slashing with purpose. Defensively, he communicates well with teammates and rebounds. The game comes naturally to him, and he looks like a future star. Put stock in Rich now as he looked sharp all summer and capped it off with a strong showing here.

Proctor plays with a level of confidence and pace that you can't teach. His change of pace is what separates him. He's shifty with the rock, fearless attacking the paint, and opens up the offense from deep with his jumpshot. When defenses went zone, he picked them apart as one of the guards who got into the teeth of the defense and made plays. In man, he couldn't be guarded straight up. Defensively, he was a pest as he was getting in passing lanes and finishing off steals. He set the tone for Tru and was a vocal leader. I'm high on him after this weekend as he was consistent all weekend and responds well even when being coached hard.

Powell is a microwave scorer with one of the smoothest jumpers in the gym. He kept the defense on its heels, whether it was step-backs, midrange turnarounds, or threes off the catch. He's aggressive yet composed, strong enough to defend bigger guards, and dropped back-to-back 30+ point games to finish the tournament. Despite playing 17U as a 2028, he never looked out of place. He's a combo guard who brings buckets and grit, and we're excited to see progress.

Patrick might've been the best player in the gym on the first two days. He's a big man who knows how to dominate inside. He was finishing with soft hooks, punishing defenders on the block, and stretching the floor with his jumper. He plays with touch, power, and vision as he's willing to make the extra pass and seals hard for easy lobs. When he adds that dog mentality to his frame and skill of just knocking players over as he finishes, it's game over. Patrick was an absolute standout and one of the best players on the weekend.
