[player_tooltip player_id='2865349' first='Bryer' last='Putman'] | SF | Wilton
The move: 19 to 10

Putman transferred to Muscatine before the start of last season, then reversed course and returned to Wilton, causing him to miss half of the Beavers' games as a sophomore. But when he was on the floor, he was once again remarkably productive, averaging 23.6 points, 12.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.0 steals, and 3.2 blocks per game on 52% shooting. He has followed it up with a great spring and summer with Waukee Jam East, routinely showcasing his three-level scoring, playmaking, and defensive versatility at 6-5/6-6.

[player_tooltip player_id='2366206' first='Jeremiah' last='Slaughter'] | PG | Council Bluffs Lincoln
The move: 40 to 17

Slaughter continues his ascent up the 2027 rankings with his play throughout spring and summer with Southwest Iowa Impact. He's an intelligent guard who can play with or without the ball in his hands, posting 45-44-60 shooting splits as a sophomore. He's a plus-athlete who can finish above the rim with authority, and his agility and wingspan allow him to defend multiple positions effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2420805' first='Dylan' last='Schon'] | CG | Kuemper Catholic
The move: 37 to 23

Schon was invited out to Colorado State's camp in June and has put together a really nice spring and summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2075630' first='Martin' last='Brothers']. A versatile three-level scorer who can play with or without the ball in his hands, he's a good athlete who thrives when he's playing downhill and getting to the rim. He averaged 13.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game as a sophomore for one of the best teams in 2A.

[player_tooltip player_id='2754678' first='Michael' last='Gordon'] | SG | Bettendorf
The move: 48 to 31

Gordon averaged 8.4 points and shot 43% from the 3-point line as a sophomore at North Scott. He has transferred back to Bettendorf for his junior year, where he'll give the Bulldogs a dynamic shotmaker off both the dribble and the catch. He has a quick release, unlimited range, and can play with or without the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='2419810' first='Easton' last='McGraw'] | SF | Indianola
The move: 67 to 39

McGraw was one of the standouts at the Winterset Shootout back in June, looking like a supremely confident three-level scorer on the wing. He has great size and length on the perimeter, and he's improving as an athlete. He finishes well at the rim with either hand, has the length to create chaos on the defensive end, and can contribute well on the glass on both ends of the floor. He averaged 12.5 points and 6.9 rebounds a game as a sophomore for the Indians.

[player_tooltip player_id='2754666' first='Brody' last='Burke'] | C | Dallas Center-Grimes
The move: 72 to 45

Burke is an intriguing young big man with the size, length, and mobility to become an impact player on both ends of the floor. At this point in time, his ranking is a bit more of a product of his projection moving forward, but there are some real tools to work with as well - soft hands, mobility, length, footwork.

[player_tooltip player_id='2419843' first='Braylin' last='DeJager'] | PG | Council Bluffs Lincoln
The move: 69 to 46

The other piece of the talented 2027 CBAL backcourt making a jump is DeJager, a three-level scorer who can get his teammates involved at a high level. He's an active defender with quick hands and feet, and his understands his role on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2617495' first='Drake' last='Pfaltzgraff'] | PF | Bondurant-Farrar
The move: 73 to 47

Pfaltzgraff keeps improving, and thusly, keeps climbing up the rankings. A mobile 6-6/6-7 big man with soft hands, good touch around the rim, and the ability to step out and stretch the floor as well, he's coming off an impressive sophomore season in which he averaged 10.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and posted 56-49-55 shooting splits.

[player_tooltip player_id='2370429' first='Peter' last='Wedewer'] | PG | Wahlert Catholic
The move: 114 to 50

Wedewer was a late call-up to the Golden Eagles' varsity roster last year, appearing in just their final six games, but he was really effective in his minutes, going 7-14 from behind the arc during that stretch while also showcasing some impressive playmaking off the dribble. He's a quick guard who sees the floor well, handles it, and can knock down shots off the dribble and the catch. He'll be a key piece as a junior for a Wahlert team that could be a surprise contender in 3A.
