After completing a year of high school, and a subsequent spring season on the travel circuit, we felt we had enough opportunities to evaluate each of these prospects for the players they are now and the potential they have to develop down the road.

Below is a breakdown of each of the prospects in our Top 10, with an emphasis on what they do on the floor that made them stand out this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571906' first='Malachi' last='Odugbela']: At 6'5" with long arms and real guard skills, he has some of the best long-term potential in the region. He can handle the ball in the half-court, makes plays as a scorer at all three levels, and could develop into a really good perimeter defender in time. Could play a big role for St. Andrew's this winter and will be a fun prospect to track the next 3 years.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569694' first='Kyle' last='Delves']: The 6'1" guard plays with the poise of an upperclassman. He has good positional size that is complimented by impressive athleticism. He's hard to guard when he gets downhill, is a tough shot maker late in the clock, and takes pride on the defensive end. A young Mount Saint Charles team will lean on his leadership and presence this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2689518' first='Isaac' last='Olaniba']: He stands out in this class with his physical gifts - a 6'8" frame, long arms, and good athletic pop - but continues to impress with his skill development. He's already a talented finisher around the rim, is developing as a straight line driver, and defends at all three levels. The motor and shot blocking are separating skills for the Mount Saint Charles forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2832762' first='Wiji' last='Dak']: An impressive performer this winter in the NHIAA, he's exploded into the spotlight this spring while playing with the Mass Rivals. A physically mature 6'3" wing, he's bigger, stronger, and more athletic than most wings in this class. But, on top of that, he's an instinctive defender, really good rebounder in space, and continues to evolve as a multi-level scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571909' first='John' last='Ramos']: A 6'1" combo guard that can really score the basketball, he already plays with an advanced feel for the game and a knowledge of how to get to his spots as a scorer. He uses his length to his advantage defensively, has some wiggle off the bounce in isolation situations, and is elite with the ball in his hands in transition. He'll provide Central with one of the top scoring options in the RIIL this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421244' first='Leo' last='Fauver']: The 6'7" wing already stands out with his ability to consistently knock down shots from behind the arc. He has great positional size, is a fluid mover, and knows how to find open passing lanes off drives to get into his jumper. As he continues to get stronger, his off the bounce game should only continue to improve. Look for him to be a breakout player in the NEPSAC at Hotchkiss this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2832763' first='Finn' last='McCauley']: There isn't a better athlete in this class playing in any of the six state associations in New England. He has a terrific combination of positional size (6'7"), athleticism, toughness, and versatility. He's a strong cutter, can finish through contact at the rim, and defends all five spots on the other end of the floor. He'll team with #10 on this list to make Portsmouth one of the favorites in the NHIAA this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571907' first='Jackson' last='Perri']: An exciting lead guard out of Roxbury Latin, he is terrific with the ball in his hands, breaking down defenses off the bounce, and making everyone around him better. He's as fast as any guard in this class end to end, continues to show off some impressive athleticism and burst, and scores it at all three levels. Added to that is the fact that he's a gritty, prideful, and tough on-ball defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571927' first='Maxxwell' last='Thorpe']: The 6'9" big man has all the physical attributes you look for in a young big with a sturdy frame, good athletic pop, and long arms. He's a plus defender that protects the rim, fights on the defensive glass, and continues to show some above average lateral mobility. Offensively, he's a great rim runner in transition, scores it with either hand around the rim, and can make plays out of the mid-post.

[player_tooltip player_id='2594613' first='Derek' last='Swartz']: The big guard out of Portsmouth checks all the boxes of a do-it-all prospect. He spent the winter filling up box scores by capitalizing on his combination of positional size, strength, and athleticism. This spring, he turned heads with his feel for the game, decisions making, and ability to score at multiple levels for the Mass Rivals.
