Red Lion vs. Chester Game Will Bring in the College Coaches (2:50PM on Sat., at Jefferson U)

Red Lion's lineup boasts [player_tooltip player_id='2432253' first='Isaiah' last='Ogurcak'] who is one of the elite 2027 guards in Pennsylvania. This past winter Ogurcak used his speed and three-level scoring skills to average 20 points per night. Running alongside Ogurcak is his backcourt partner Kade Shepherd. Shepard (14 ppg.) is a rising senior combo guard with a highly accurate 3-point shot. In 2024-25 he posted five games of 20+ points. For Red Lion, coaches will also want to scout Ben Martin. Piloting Chester's up-tempo offense will be [player_tooltip player_id='2461963' first='Ramee' last='Davis Jr']. Davis is a two-way guard prospect who posted 10 point per night as a freshman. His ability to quickly turn defensive stops and loose balls into fast break opportunities is remarkable. In addition to Davis, Chester will get an injection of offensive production from transfer [player_tooltip player_id='2464227' first='Myon' last='Dale']. He is a backcourt prospect who last season was one of the top 2027 prospects in Delaware. Chester rising sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2629530' first='Jay'son' last='Demby'] and senior [player_tooltip player_id='2400242' first='Daron' last='Harris'] should catch the attention of college coaches too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2427227' first='MJ' last='Thompson'] of Council Rock South is Going to Impress

On the spring grassroots circuit Thompson was a key part of a [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] team that assembled a 14-0 record in May. That should not come as a surprise because during the 2024-25 high school season, Thompson he averaged 17 points along with 5 rebounds per game and was a 1st Team All-Suburban One League selection. We expect Thompson's months long run of stellar play to continue this weekend at Philly HS Live. Thompson is a fast and versatile guard who is a walking bucket. Thanks to his speed and creative finishing moves, Thompson is an extraordinary open court scorer. In the half-court, Thompson will drain threes and use the bounce to create for himself as well as teammates. Thompson can get into the lane and then convert on lay-ins, unleash floaters and kiss runners off the glass. Additionally, the high IQ Thompson can get a paint touch and then kick out to open shooters or slip a pass to a cutting teammate. Plus, Thompson possesses all the intangibles college coaches love.

Conestoga Games Will Be Must-See Events for College Coaches

At Philly HS Live Session I, Conestoga assembled an impressive 2-0 record. Of course, all-everything point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1454262' first='Rowan' last='Miller'] was outstanding in all phases. He averaged 16 points per game last weekend. Fellow 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2461930' first='Shane' last='O'Brien'] shot the lights out from behind the arc and senior Swiss Army knife [player_tooltip player_id='2224494' first='Cory' last='Hogan'] stuffed the stat book. 6'5” forward Luke Hunter flashed a nice interior skill set. Talented combo-guard [player_tooltip player_id='2428190' first='Aidan' last='Mackey'] was rocky steady as a ball handler. Catching our eye for the first time was 6'3” shooting guard Advhik Mani. This wiry 2026 prospect drained three pointers, rebounded, and caught opponents by surprise with his transition skills.

[player_tooltip player_id='1888746' first='Fareed' last='Brown'] of Engineering & Sciences Continues His Electric Play

Brown is a dynamic off the dribble scoring guard who electrified the crowds at the Rare Footage Pre-Live event with his circus handles and creative finishes at the rim. He was incredibly impressive at Philly HS Live Session I too. Over the last three months, Brown has excelled at turning steals and loose balls into easy buckets at the other end. His quick bursts and fast break instincts make him unstoppable in the open court. Brown can attack the paint in the half-court for lay-ins, floaters, and runners. If Brown gets swarmed by the help defense, he will smartly kick out to open shooters or drop a dime to the dunker spot. Brown can also use his elusive dribbles to get to his mid-range spots for pull ups.
