Fresh off his stellar 28-point (7 triples) performance at the PW Spring League, Hogan will lace them up this weekend for PSB Philly HGAL at the Philly Spring Clash. Obviously, Hogan can splash threes. His size (6’4”) and quick release enables Hogan to shoot over defenders and even double teams. Hogan can also operate as a point-forward in the high post. From there he can get to the rack off one or two dribbles for a lay-in. Or Hogan can distribute to cutters and open perimeter shooters. With his solid frame and non-stop motor, Hogan frequently crashes the offensive glass for put backs. Hogan is an underrated transition scorer too. On defense he is extremely switchable and competes on the boards.

The bigger the District playoff stage, the more clutch Hogan performed. Hogan opened the District1-5A tournament with a solid 11 points and 4 boards effort in a victory over Cheltenham. Next, he posted 15 points and 5 rebounds in Conestoga’s semifinal upset of Coatesville. Finally, in ‘Stoga’s D1-6A title game win over Plymouth Whitemarsh, Hogan stuffed stat book with 17 points (1 three) and 7 rebounds. This clutch prospect operated as a point-forward for much of the Pioneers run to the D1-6A hardware. Working out of the high pots or the wing, Hogan scored repeatedly by putting the ball on the deck and getting to the rim. He also worked the offensive glass for second chance opportunities. Hogan sprinkled in the occasional 3-ball too. His high IQ and court vison produced a slew of dimes. Even more impressive than Hogan’s stats on offense was his effort at the defensive end. Hogan showed extreme versatility throughout the D1-6A tourney as he guarded 2 through 5 and dominated the glass on that end.

Hogan is a long and versatile shooting guard who stuffs the stat book for the Pioneers. For example, in January he registered a double double of 15 points and 10 rebounds against Marple Newtown. The last week he dropped 19 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in ‘Stoga’s win over Haverford. Hogan (11 ppg.) is a multi-skilled prospect who is comfortable operating on the perimeter, at the high post or in the dunker spot. His jump shot is automatic at every level. Hogan’s high IQ and finishing skills make him a fantastic pick-n-roll player. The trifecta of Hogan’s size, physicality and tenacity enable him to turn offensive rebounds into points.

Hogan’s outstanding play during September should push his Class of 2026 rankings inside the Top 200. At the CoBL Interstate Shootout, the Big 64 Showcase, and the Comp Edge Fall League, Hogan has displayed extraordinary versatility. Hogan has proven that he can run as a shooting guard, point-forward and / or a stretch-4. In any of those roles, Hogan can pop jumpers from all over the court. He can also score at the rim and in the mid-range. His court vision and high IQ make Hogan a remarkable distributor. Hogan’s size enables him to play bully ball on the blocks against smaller defenders.
