MHC Team Camp at Millersville U: Prospects to Watch

Adams is a traditional center / power forward who uses his length, solid frame, and wingspan to produce points around the rim. He can score via drop steps that lead to flip hooks as well as lay-ins through contact. Adams can also work the baseline and dunker spot for finishes off one or two dribbles. His pick-n-roll skills are a developing weapon too. But the spring 2025 grassroots circuit proved to be Chester's breakout stretch and we are willing to bet that stellar play continues here in June. With his length, agility, rim-to-rim speed and finishing skills, Chester thrives in transition. On half-court possessions, Chester scores by draining threes as well as in close via dives to cup, finishing from the dunker spot and crashing the offensive glass for put backs. With his athleticism, versatility and three level scoring skills we expect he will handle that role without a problem. Hemmings can operate as a point guard or play off-the-ball. From both spots, Hemmings is a bona-fide playmaker. He can knock down jumpers from all over the floor and score on straight line drives. He can also produce points on back door or baseline cuts. Plus, Hemmings can put the ball on the deck and then dish out assists to teammates. His high IQ, court vision and patience make Hemmings a fantastic ball handler on the fast break. On defense, his length and quick lateral movements made Hemmings extremely switchable. Good news…based on what I saw on the spring grassroots circuit from Smith, he is ready to handle that promotion. Smith is an athletic and versatile prospect who can play both guard spots as well as on the wing and even at small forward if needed. He can score at all three levels in the half court. Smith's dribble drives are extremely smooth. With his speed, agility and attacking nature, Smith is unstoppable in transition.
