2027 MBCA Prospects Taller Than 6’7

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126094' first='Ty' last='Schlagel'] - Cretin-Derham Hall - Schlagel was recently invited to the Nike Elite 100 Camp, and has heard from Minnesota, Nebraska, Creighton, Notre Dame, and Saint Louis. The six-foot-seven-inch shooting guard has been our #1 ranked player in the 2027 class since we posted the ranking and he doesn't seem close to giving up the spot. Schlagel is so skilled and as he's matured and gotten stronger he's just gotten tougher and tougher to stop. Mohamed made Paul Biancardi's EYCL best playing for [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] Hoops 17U EYCL team in May as well. Sheridan has had multiple games this spring on the 3Stripes Circuit making multiple 3-pointers.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2417301' first='Hunter' last='Vinkemeier'] - Le Sueur-Henderson - The six-foot-nine-inch VInkemeier has made a large impression this spring playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Goring. Effective and efficient low post scorer with good quick feet and soft touch. Gaustad is not only a scorer as he's also grabbing boards. At the NHR State 2025 he had 3 double doubles. Gaustad also uses his length well to block shots.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2860540' first='Trey' last='Theis'] - Prior Lake - The six-foot-seven-inch [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Zurn forward showed how he can be super effective at NHR State 2025 and a potential match-up problem. Slow footed big guys can't stay with Theis in the open floor or in the half-court when he's moving and cutting. Theis may not score 20, but he'll score a few, grab boards, hand out a few assists, block a shot, get some deflections and be solid game in and game out.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2140712' first='Willie' last='Roelofs'] - Mahtomedi - The six-foot-seven-inch [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] Hoops wing/forward Roelofs seemed every week during the high school season where he had highlight play, blocking a shot or slamming a big dunk. Cronin hasn't stopped dunking, and he's gotten a bit more explosive and authoritative with his slams. Cronin has a solid face-up game and can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim with quick first step and physicality. The six-foot-eight-inch forward that moves well as he's pretty agile, and he's long, which helps him bother players with his length. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126465' first='Tommy' last='Schabert'] - Farmington - Schabert is a six-foot-seven-inch wing that plays with the Hoop Habits P32 team this year. Good athlete, very active around the basket, particularly on the offensive glass. Runs the floor hard.
