We are at the midpoint of the spring/summer season and have just updated our 2026 class rankings. The high school summer season is underway and we still have another month of AAU ball to look forward to. Here are nine players who continue to show development in their game and are some of the players with the highest potential who are rising the ranks in this update.

[player_tooltip player_id='2380117' first='Chayce' last='Waite-Kellar'] | PF | 6'8 | Monroe

Super athlete up front who will punish the rim. Strong and physical on both ends and showed he's one of the top rebounders in the state last season. He's a guy who will wear down defenders in several ways, grinding down low, working relentlessly on the glass, and a guy who can get up and down the floor in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1685495' first='Mateo' last='Cummings'] | SF | 6'7 | Lake Washington

Excellent shooter from deep whose growth spurt has elevated his prospect profile. Was already a solid shot blocker last season and should be an even bigger force defensively with his added length. Just a natural shooter who has legit size now.

[player_tooltip player_id='2464768' first='Gavin' last='Klassen-Matuska'] | SF | 6'10 | Ballard

Another wing who has continued to grow, he was already a big contributor around the rim who can attack the offensive glass, defend the rim against drives, and has shown good touch inside the arc. High upside kid who will be one to monitor as the summer goes on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1601813' first='Michael' last='Masini'] | PF | 6'10 | Gig Harbor

Sturdy offensive force who knows how to draw contact inside and is a constant double-double threat. Has good shooting touch and can stretch the floor with his jumper. Put up big numbers last winter and can be really effective working in pick and rolls.

[player_tooltip player_id='1863246' first='Carson' last='Morningstar'] | PF | 6'8 | Prairie

Physical kid down low who is used to playing around bodies inside and creating space with strength and footwork. He's able to attack in a lot of ways from the blocks and has a good feel for space and timing on his shots by the rim, can play at his pace when working down low.

[player_tooltip player_id='2510524' first='Daniel' last='Trotenya'] | SG | 6'4 | Kennewick

Talented scorer who can get to the rim in a lot of ways and shows no hesitation pulling from deep. But also a very talented rebounder who attacks the ball, can go up and get it, and has the strength to rip it away from other players. His offensive game continues to develop to match his athleticism and aggressiveness.

[player_tooltip player_id='1685497' first='Adrik' last='Jenkin'] | SG | 6'4 | Colfax

This kid has been on a roll the last two years, stacking up back-to-back league MVP awards and proving to be one of the top prospects at the 2B level. He's a super athlete who can make plays at the rim on both ends and has a dynamic perimeter game headlined by his stellar outside shooting. He's a big reason Colfax is 51-5 over the last two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='2380116' first='Jaden' last='Ghoreishi'] | SF/PF | 6'10 | Mt Spokane

Showed how effective he can be with Mt. Spokane as a force down low this past winter, but is also skilled enough at 6-foot-10 to create off the bounce from both the perimeter and facing up in the midrange. Has continued to improve physically and has a smooth stroke from deep, making him a dynamic prospect at his size.

[player_tooltip player_id='2021598' first='Daniel' last='Johnson'] | SG | 6'3 | Auburn

One of the most efficient and talented scorers in the state, really had a breakout campaign last winter and has not slowed down. Picked up an offer to Eastern Washington this spring and will be the top returner for Auburn next season. Can separate from his defender on balance and with efficient combos that help him score from each level.
