Here is a player who is ready to have a big, big summer. Waite-Kellar dominates the paint on both ends, being able to block shots often and seal defenders when trying to get buckets on the offensive side. He runs the court well in transition, moving like a wing but having the strength as a post player. He looked great during Perseverance during their first tournament at the Auburn Fieldhouse last weekend.

for much of the first half and was able to win down low with patience and some quick moves in the post. He’s a pretty athletic kid who was elite rebounding the ball and ended with a 14-point 15-rebound performance to help lift Monroe to the state tourney.

Waite-Kellar is a stout physical presence. He has the broad shoulders to displace defenders and attack the offensive glass. He’s athletic enough to run the floor and get on the end of breaks with big, above the rim finishes, and he has an excellent motor around the rim to find space and finish plays. Monroe has a strong team heading into winter and Waite-Kellar is going to cause a lot of issues for other teams inside.

He was one of the more physically imposing kids at the event. Has broad shoulders and good athleticism that allowed him to make plays in the paint and above the rim. Intense rebounder with great activity, and showed he can hit some open shots in the midrange.

Chayce is a big framed post player who knows how to defend the paint at an elite level. He is aggressive on the boards and goes 100% every play. He sets solid screens and rolls hard through the paint, using his big frame to seal opposing players and get himself open looks down by the bucket.
