Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage from Spooky Nook in Hamilton, Ohio for UAA Session II/UA Rise Session I. The first live evaluation period of the spring brought coaches into the gym from all across the country which always helps to generate a different level of buzz. Throughout the weekend we dropped our typical notebook-style write-ups to provide coverage in real time. However, now as we debrief from the weekend, we will take a more expansive view of what we saw. Let's begin here by highlighting some of the best Class of 2028 prospects from Indiana that we had the chance to evaluate over the weekend.

Progeny 15u is the one team from Indiana that competes up on the UAA Circuit and they certainly looked like they belonged this weekend at UAA Session II in Hamilton, Ohio. Bowman was a big part of their 3-1 weekend. The 5'11" guard from Crawford County H.S. was especially effective in the game we watched on Sunday morning, a 71-52 win over P7 Elite. Many of his team-leading 18 points came in the second half beginning with a couple of fast break layups triggered by excellent defensive plays. Then, he knocked in a pair of three-point shots and showed the ability to create his own mid-range pull-ups as well. He has a very well-rounded offensive game with a lot of skill.

A consistent top performer for Progeny 15u throughout the spring, Foster was excellent once again during their 3-1 weekend at UAA Session II. The 6'4" forward checks every box in terms of his physical and athletic tools. He is very long, strong, and bouncy. Foster consistently finishes with both hands around the rim and is excellent on the roll. The Scecina Memorial has great hands and seems to catch everything that is thrown his direction. One of the real stock-risers of this spring in Indiana's Class of 2028.

One of the best pure scorers in Indiana's current freshman class, Hardiman had his talents on full display with [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] 15u over the weekend. The 6'2" guard's most impressive performance came on Saturday as he poured in 26 points in an impressive 72-69 win. He plays with a lot of speed and quickness in the open floor, but can stop on a dime and elevate into his jump shot. The Merrillville guard is so smooth with the ball in his hands and has so much offensive talent. It doesn't take long to recognize why he is considered a Top 10 prospect in Indiana's Class of 2028.

This past weekend was our first opportunity to really evaluate this forward from Warsaw High School and he certainly made a great first impression. The left-handed forward did a little bit of everything. He showed the ability to score inside with some strength and physicality, moved around well with the ball in his hands as a left-handed driver, and stretched the floor out to three-point range. Jones finished with 22 points in the game we watched of [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] 15u. He appears to be a really good young forward to watch in Indiana's Class of 2028.

Already considered a Top 10 prospect in the Class of 2028 by Prep Hoops Indiana, Kiteka did nothing but confirm our excitement about his future. The 6'9" center will need to continue to get stronger and more agile, but he can flat out score around the basket. He does an excellent job of keeping the ball high where smaller defenders can't bother him and has a very soft finishing touch at the rim. Kiteka scored 18 points in the first game we watched, had an incredible 27-point and 12-rebound performer in Indiana Jammers 15u's lone victory, and capped the weekend off with 22 more points. The big man from Cloverdale is a beast on the offensive glass, protects the rim, and finishes at a very high percentage.

Selking went off for 23 points in the game we watched of [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] 15u on Saturday as he helped lead his very talented team to a perfect 4-0 weekend at UA Rise Session I in Hamilton, Ohio. The 6'0" guard from Bellmont High School got to his game-high point total quietly. He shot the ball well from three-point range, consistently got to the rim where he finished with both hands, and was a willing playmaker as well. He was the engine of the offense and a very active on-ball defender at the point of attack which set a tone on the other end. Definitely a guard to watch in the current freshman class up in the greater Fort Wayne area.

Wilson has been one of the real stock-risers of the spring proving himself as a top prospect in Indiana's Class of 2028. He had a big game on Sunday for [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] 15u finishing with 25 points in a win. The 6'3"-6'4" wing is a such a versatile presence on both ends of the floor. Not only does he possesses the requisite positional size, length, and athleticism, but Wilson is also very skilled. The Crown Point High School product can space the floor as a shooting threat and is very effective using his size and athleticism as a driver to finish at the rim. There is so much talent going through Crown Point right now and he is certainly one of the most intriguing long term prospects.
