Mark's steady point guard play was key for [program_tooltip program_id='2075449' first='East' last='Metro Bounce'] in a win over [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle']. He seemed to be the one player that Sizzle's ball pressure couldn't speed up, as he stayed calm and was able to get his team into their half-court sets. Isn't going to blow you away with explosiveness, but just knows how to change speed to get to his spots and make plays. He always seemed to know exactly where the ball needed to go, and was delivering accurate passes right into his shooters' hands leading to high percentage looks. Also knocked down a few jumpers on his own in the win.

Shiloh put up 22 points against a tough Real Phenom team on Sunday morning. The Blaine guard is super quick to get to his spots, and can stop on a dime for a pull-up jumper. He showcased a nice mid-range game, and with the level of elevation he gets on his shot, it's tough to contest when he's able to get to his spots. Was a threat in transition as well with his speed on the ball. He was a 19 ppg scorer as a junior at Blaine, and could be in for a big senior season in the winter.

The effort that Gibson plays with really stood out on Saturday. He was putting his body on the line to go for every 50/50 ball, jumping long passes, getting on the floor for loose balls, and battling against bigs for rebounds. Had one rebound where he came rising out of a crowd and looked to grab the ball at about 11' in the air. Offensively he impressed with some acrobatic finishes, showcasing the body control to just hang in the air and finish around shot blockers. Tough as nails guard out of North Dakota.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126117' first='Malachi' last='Hill'] is one of the fastest players in the state when he has the ball in his hands. Against Martin Brothers there were times where guys had a few yards head-start against him, and Malachi would just blow by them to get to the rim. He's a point guard that loves to play fast, but is still able to stay under control on the ball. So dangerous getting into the lane because he can explode to the rim to finish, or locate his shooters out on the perimeter. Has always played with a feel for the game well beyond his years.

Lyrik has a really nice basketball frame at 6'3. He's long and agile, and was at his best creating for his teammates off the dribble on Sunday morning. Did a nice job of beating his initial defender off the dribble to force the defense to collapse, and from there was able to locate an open teammate on the perimeter. Always seemed to have his eyes scanning the floor when attacking. Showed some wiggle to create his own shots as well, hitting a couple of pull-up jumpers from mid-range.

Quinn is a big time shooter and reliable ball handler for this Wisconsin Playmakers team. He could run the point and be trusted to get his team into their half-court sets, or could step out on the wing and torch defenders from three. Both on and off the ball he always seems to be moving, and guys have to constantly keep an eye on him because he's a 40%+ three point shooter who will put points on the board in a hurry if you give him too much space. Played a key role in Playmakers' comeback win over Team Warwick on Sunday.

There aren't many players who can put points on the board as quickly as Marcus can. He has endless levels of confidence in his shot, and when he gets into a rhythm, you better watch out. Marcus caught fire in the second half against [program_tooltip program_id='2075449' first='East' last='Metro Bounce'], dragging his [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle'] team back into the game and giving them a chance in the final 30 seconds. He's so quick creating space, able to step-back into a pull-up three, but can also hesitate and then blow by you to explode to the rim. Packs a ton of explosive athleticism into his 5'10-11 frame to make plays at the rim.
