A Look at the Six Returners in the Top 10

The player rankings market corrections won't always generate losses. At times, they'll also generate returns. In this case, take a look at the six returning prospects in the Top 10.

The top 3 spots remain the same with [player_tooltip player_id='2292410' first='Jordan' last='Page'] (Broughton), [player_tooltip player_id='1948021' first='CJ' last='Rosser'] (Northern Nash) and [player_tooltip player_id='1280889' first='LJ' last='Smith IV'] (Lincolnton) all checking in respectively. All three are set to become national prospects this spring/summer in the grassroots cycle. Page will be suiting up with [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] on the adidas 3SSB stage. Rosser will be suiting up with [program_tooltip program_id='2220892' first='Team' last='United'] on the EYBL while Smith will also be on the same stage with Team Thad.

[player_tooltip player_id='2149164' first='RJ' last='Moore'] moves into the No. 4 spot after producing 23.4 points per game and knocking down 100 3-pointers in his sophomore season. He led Corvian Community to their first state title in school history this past March with a buzzer-beater in overtime. He was recently offered by Rutgers and Utah.

[player_tooltip player_id='2292410' first='Jordan' last='Page'] presents a dangerous backcourt dynamic for [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] on the 3SSB stage with the addition of [player_tooltip player_id='2149164' first='RJ' last='Moore'] to their roster. Given what each can do off the bounce, they should be a lethal combo on the offensive attack this spring/summer.

6-foot-9 big man [player_tooltip player_id='2287864' first='Charles' last='Chienggen Pur'] out of Burlington Christian Academy checks in at No. 5. He led the Royals with 15.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game as a sophomore this past season. He recorded 11 double-doubles while shooting 56 percent from the field. They finished 20-10 and made it to the NCISAA 3A State Quarterfinals this past year with his athleticism, size and versatility leading the charge.

[player_tooltip player_id='1797959' first='Keyshawn' last='Herring'] | 6'2 Combo Guard | Kinston

Herring moves up from 16th to No. 7 in the latest rankings market correction for NC's 2027 class. He's an athletic guard prospect to know out of Kinston High set to make a major splash on the independent scene with [program_tooltip program_id='2077055' first='7th' last='Nation Warriors']. His ability to defend at a high level as well as make things happen off the bounce offensively are difficult to stop when he gets going. He's one to keep an eye on as an underrated name in the region.

[player_tooltip player_id='2502839' first='Mason' last='Robinson'] | 6'8 Center | Greensboro Day

Robinson has emerged as a strong paint presence to know in NC's 2027 class as he makes his debut in the rankings at No. 8. He's fresh off a 3A NCISAA State Title with Greensboro Day School in his first season since moving from Orange High. He's got a great feel for where to be on the interior at all times to make his presence felt on both ends of the floor. Look for him to be a key factor in the [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] frontcourt on the adidas 3SSB stage this spring/summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2626034' first='Karon' last='Watlington'] | 6'3 Combo Guard | Burlington Christian Academy

Watlington was a key factor in Burlington Christian Academy's run in the NCISAA 3A State Playoffs this past season. He produced 14.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals per contest on 45 percent shooting from the field and 32 percent from 3-point range. He moves from 11th to ninth in the latest rankings market corrections for the 2027 class in NC. He'll be a budding name to know with [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3'] on the EYBL stage.

[player_tooltip player_id='2449543' first='Travien' last='Williams'] | 6'2 Shooting Guard | Hickory Ridge

Williams moves from 16th to ninth in the latest rankings market corrections for the 2027 class in NC. He had a breakout season with Hickory Ridge with 19.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.2 steals per game on 53 percent shooting from the floor in his sophomore campaign. He's a prospect on the NXTPro Circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='2417097' first='Team' last='Ish'] to keep an eye on this grassroots cycle given his penchant for scoring the ball in a variety of ways.
